Does anyone else notice that they get treated differentedly because of their usernames? I mean, I catch a lot of flack for mine. If my name was fuzzykittenshark231 and I had an avatar of a fluffy bunny [http://images.google.ca/images?rlz=1C1GGLS_enCA301CA303&hl=en&q=fluffy+bunny], I'm sure I could get away with a lot more instead of being called out for having a "throbbingego, hurr hurr." I know what my username is. I chose it. Repeating my username to me is not witty.

It was even worse when I had my Freud avatar, and people thought everything I was saying related back to one of Freud's theories. I picked it for irony with my name, which I picked in honor of my blog at the time. Not because I'm into early psychoanalyst theory.

Anyway, what do you think that people think of you, because of your username?
Freudian picture plus the word "throbbing"? hurr hurr hurr
Yes, yes. I'm obviously too much of a moron to do that intentionally. Thank you for pointing that out to me. :p

Either that I'm some dark goth/emo loser (which I'm not) or if you realize what the numbers are, that I am a Lovecraft fan.

Mine's just my nickname and what a lot of people tell me. Quite simply, "No, Kelso."

I have mostly shortened mine to Glade because twats in cod2 had a very stupid come back for anything I said to them regarding my full game/internet name.
Also because I shortened it and now mostly use shortened version people think I named it after the air freshener.

I am a undiscovered pyromaniac, in which i don't start fires(often) but i do actually feed fires that are already started.(A short list of things i've burned in a camp/bon fire; pop tart, cealing fan, lamp, Electric razor, my own hand, a box of CD-Rs, old work shoes, and a box of cereal)

I'm also have a mind for zombie myth, ranging from infection to voodoo magic zombies. I watch for possible zombie uprisings all across the world, or atleast something coming to life. I watch for it because i like seeing people get there comeuppance, especially questioning people who like prodding.

I also think fondly about the image of a TF2 pyro, reanimated from the dead.

don't really get anyone trying to pick apart my user names....I always go with Matron Adena, (unless it's a mmo's community forum, then I go by my main characters name) And for me it was always quite simple....I'm a Matron, and my name is Adena...nothing else beyond that.

People see mine and my avatar and generally have no reaction. *shrug* I shortened it because no one knows what a Pandaikon is.

Yes, I really liked that avatar, come to think of it - you should change it back. Whenever I saw it, it always made me think you must be a very knowledgeable fellow for some reason (I didn't actually realise it was Freud at the time, though).

[Edit:] Bollocks, someone else has already said exactly this on page one. Sorry for wasting your time.
Not at all. Don't worry about it. Actually, that was also another part of my problem with it.
