First: Please don't call me out on this being in User Reviews, I know, so just ignore that and post.
You are walking one day down the street. On the corner, while waiting for some cars to pass so you can walk, you see a box. You look around to see who it belongs to or who left it for you. You pick it up, hold it under your arm, and walk across the street.
You walk up the stairs to your apartment room, unlock the door, and set the box down. It is a perfect cube, yellow, and has a removable top. You sit down and watch TV, trying to forget about it. Your friend calls you and asks if you wanted to come to the bar, and you say yes.
After a few drinks you forget all about the box. After a night of drinking and talking, being the center of attention, you stumble home with a pleasant buzz. You sleep for about an hour, before a powerful headache wakes you up. You try to get to the bathroom, looking for a Tylenol. You walk across the room and stumble on the box. Curiosity overpowers you, as you tilt up the lid. You open it, and something fantastic is inside.
So. What's in the box?
In my box is a virtual reality set. I put on the helmet, the gloves, and the boots. The helmet puts earphones in my ears. Then, the gloves prick these little spines in me so I can feel heat and cold, pain or otherwise. I put a small clamp on my tongue, for tasting stuff.
In the virtual reality is a whole Universe, with anything you can imagine that would be exciting. To begin you have to hijack a ship, find a friend, and get off. All you have is a towel, nessasary for going about the Universe, a collapsable hollow metal stick, which collapses by being pulled, bent in half, then pulled, bent in fourths. This is not nessasary, but I want one. So, in a place without danger to your real body, you can go about planets doing whatever the hell you want. If you die, the helmet laughs in you ears and respawns you at the nearest bar.
