....No, he's talking about the cell-shaded Prince of Persia game for the 360, did you reply to the wrong person or something? Or have you just never heard of the game?

Starfox Adventures.
I picked it up when I was like, 10. I hated every moment of it. I didn't even finish it; why?

That stupid fucking baby triceratops.
Hahaha I loved that game. I've been looking for a copy

I cannot think of one. At all. And I enjoyed Sonic and the Secret Rings, for christ's sake!

Maybe I just want to enjoy them. Who knows. I don't go looking for flaws, though.

To all the people naming the likes of MW2 and Black Ops.If those are the worst games you've ever played then consider yourselves lucky. There's a lot worse out there

I nominate WWF Wrestlemania Challenge for the NES.It had only about 7-8 wrestlers to choose from and due to the NES pad's 2 button layout each wrestler had only a handful of moves(most of which were identical). The graphics were poor(yes I know it was a NES game but even so I remember there being a lot of graphical glitches) and the audio was annoying(the music was on a constant loop). There was also a weird glitch where if Andre the Giant got out of the ring he couldn't get back in meaning he would always be counted out

Here's a video if you're interested

Wrestling games have come a long way since

My brother gets alot of the licensed movie based games, so I know a lot of bad games. Has to be the Incredibles game, though.

Crap combat.
Repetitive levels.
Ridiculous difficulty.
Completely tangential elements included that weren't in the film just to increase the games length.
Bad graphics, even for a PS2.
Unpleasant to play.

Just, bad.

Alrighty folks, it's time for the "Worst game you ever played drinking game!" Every time someone mentions a popular game that has gotten good reviews as begin utterly terrible, take a swig! Every time someone mentions a sequel to a game originally made in NES days as being a huge letdown and killing the series, take two! Finally, if someone says a popular game is bad while they praise an unpopular one or the game before that if it's a series, just finish the whole damn glass!
If I wasn't at school, and therefor unable to drink, I'd have passed out by now.

OT: The first one that comes to mind when I think of "worst game I ever played" is Dungeon Lords. A RPG type thing from DreamCatcher (a developer I've since learned not to trust).
That game was horrible, when released it had almost none of the features it'd had boasted prior to release. And if I recall you couldn't even finish the game right out of the box, it required subsequent patching to make the game finishable. Also for the majority of the game your going around on this extravagant fetch quest gathering artifacts, and you're told that this one girl has one of them and you should seek her out before getting any of the others, but it turns out you can't actually find her until you've gone and gotten most of the others and there is no way to figure this out except to either look up the FAQ or just to say "Fuck it" and go after the other artifacts anyway. Also the spawn rate of enemies was insane, but thankfully that could be adjusted in the 'options' menu, but they wouldn't stop spawning when you were chatting with NPCs.

well, i've actually played quite a few of the Uncontested Worst Games of All Time, and not just ironically. these include E.T. for Atari (2600? the old one from the late '70s/early '80s), and Superman 64.
more recently, i'd have to list RE5. i love the RE franchise, but the controls are just so bad, and that game didn't have enough redeeming features.

[small]also, the next time someone calls Fallout:NV a "glorified expansion" i'm gonna scream. they changed SO friggin' much in that game. only real similarities are the universe it's set in and the engine it runs on. if you wanna complain about how buggy it is, go right ahead, but calling it an expansion is bullshit.[/small]

Dennis the Menace for the Gameboy. Never heard of it? Why not?

It's based on the movie (bad sign right there) and is a 2D sidescroller that involves you getting a certain number of glowing thingies in each level before going to the exit under the time limit. Doesn't sound to bad? How about the enemies that can only be killed by a particular weapon (and which one seems entirely arbitrary)? How about the completely broken controls? Or how few lives you have? Or how bloody long and repetitive it is? Or that fucking set of three levels made up entirely of platforms the same pixel width as your character (such that landing on one with any forward momentum will cause you to fall off the other side and die)? The bosses which just move back and forth not even bothering to properly attack you?

On the plus side, the graphics were quite nice for the time.

Sorry, it's just whenever I think of this game, I just think of that horrible 7 hour car journey with this as the only thing I could listen to/play. It has scarred me...

I'm curious, did you really think ET was that bad, I've always though of this as the most underrated game of all time because while it ain't that good, it is far far FAR away from being the worst game I've played, let alone the worst game of all time. Couldn't play it properly? Then read the fucking instructions you dope! Have you never played a level based (rather than point based) Atari game before? I played it, I completed it and it was nowhere near as painful as Dennis the Menace.

Superman 64 on the other hand... yeah, that's up there with the worst I've played, if only for those God-awful flying through hoops sections. The rest I didn't find as bad.

Edit: Oh no, double posting! Uncool.

yeah, i was actually able to complete the game, and personally i didn't feel it was that bad, either. i mean, it was bad, but there were much worse. Empire Strikes Back, for instance... *shudder* granted, it's been 20+ years since i played any of those old Atari games, so my recollection may not be what it should be.

I'd say Urban Chaos for the PS1 is definitely one of the worst game I've ever played. Horrible(!) graphics, sound and controls. I don't think I was able to play it for more than 1 or 2 hours.
Never before have I given up on a game that quickly, usually I always complete games even though it's ultimately not worth my time - I'm looking at you, FFXII.

Stolen for the original Xbox. Was so excited for a stealth game where you rob banks and musuems and palyed as the bad guy, but they had to make you end up being a good guy. Damn government conspiricies, ruing my game's story!

You know they actually made a second one? It may have been a reimagining or something, but it was pretty fun. It's called Urban Chaos: Riot Response.

Tales of Symphonia Dawn of a New World. From one of the best games to an utter piece of crap. Screw you Namco...
