Nevermind, you answer to someone that it would be. Would you mind coming up with any corroborative evidence? Even an article stating that either the Kinect or the Xbox One console would be playable at Pax Australia? The reason is I'm done extensive research, and haven't found a single article to outright state that it was available to play at that event. On the contrary, I found several articles stating that its presence consisted of a glass case that was sporadically empty. No mention of either sides cameras being displayed or tested by users.HydroFire said:Kinect was for general navigation and in some kinect able games.SeventhSigil said:Out of curiosity, what voice control features where they demonstrating at PAX? I had only heard they were bringing a selection of games, were they also allowing players to navigate menus, or whatnot? I just asked because you use your example of seeing both as an explanation as to how the Xbox's voice controls are more accurate than PlayStation's. So I'm assuming you got the opportunity to use voice controls for both? Where they game specific, or general navigation?HydroFire said:Hero in a half shell said:There were no Xbox Ones or PS4a at PAX, just the glorious PCs of the Masterrace: http://bf4central.com/2013/09/battlefield-4-xbox-one-demo-on-pc/HydroFire said:yesbag said:And you know this because you've obviously used both of them already, right?HydroFire said:Yes but the ps eye's voice commands will be nowhere near as accurate as the kinect's why do you think they are shipping the kinect with the xbox? -_-yesbag said:Um... Yeah, ever heard of pax?

so their voice control handling there is pretty moot, since it was actually a PC interpreting both.
No. There were xbox ones and ps4s at pax (Australia) I don't know about America though
Ps eye was only for in game use.
Also with my experience the kinect was much more accurate than the ps eye. I was pretty disappointed in the The ps eye. The kinect was easily about 6-8 times as accurate
And I am honestly not a fan on the 360 kinect but this new kinect is awesome
I'm honestly impressed by the level of accuracy with which you can compare two camera inputs.HydroFire said:The kinect was easily about 6-8 times as accurate
Do you not like being treated with respect? When I buy a product I like to know I will be treated with dignity and respect.HydroFire said:2: all this DRM and "Microsoft not being nice to you" it won't matter at all once release
Yeah, I know. I was trying to find some clever way to maneuver him into actually addressing it, enough rope to hang one's self as it were, though that doesn't seem likely to happen. xP At this point I mostly Curious about why he's lying so blatantly. The initial reaction might be Microsoft shill, but frankly anyone working for Microsoft wouldn't make that big and obvious a mistake. Could it literally be a fan who's so attached to the brand, they find it necessary to construct complete fabrications in an effort to garner support?yesbag said:We've already established that his pants are clearly on fire (3 posts within 2 minutes of each other catching his lie) - though he has oddly decided to sweep this under the rug and continues to operate as if nobody noticed. He operates like my 3 year old son in many ways. Or maybe he's told the lie so often, he's starting to believe it. Either way, we all know that there is no way he played an Xb1 at PAX Australia.SeventhSigil said:And you say this was at PAX Australia?HydroFire said:Kinect was for general navigation and in some kinect able games.SeventhSigil said:Out of curiosity, what voice control features where they demonstrating at PAX? In a way, it's kinda sad to watch his foot slide further down his throat, all for a company that doesn't even respect him as a consumer.
