Kinda weird for americans.....you are assumed to be responsible enough at a certain age to get married, serve your country, own firearms, drive, smoke etc. But you can only drink when you are 21. Legal wise.
In Denmark you can have sex anytime you want. But it's illegal to have sex with someone under 15 if you are 15 or over. To legally have sex with someone in the ages from 15 and up to 18, you must not be more than 8 years older.
So if you are 23 you can legally have sex with a 15 yearold.
And if you're under 15 you can have sex with a 2 yearold
So if you are 23 you can legally have sex with a 15 yearold.
And if you're under 15 you can have sex with a 2 yearold
It varies.
16 is the standard. However it's a 3 year distance otherwise. So if you're 18 you can go as low as 15 year old, 17 can go as low as 14. 13 and below is completely off limits though. As long as your the same age it's okay as well. (as long as it's above 13)

Age of consent is not about having sex over all is about sexual relations between an adult and a minor. I highly doubt it's 'illegal' to have sex below age 17 I've never heard of a state doing that. It means if someone OLDER than 17 tries to sleep with someone younger than 17 they get a statutory charge. It's very easy for someone of an older age to take advantage of those that are younger.Marik2 said:
16 here in England, apparently there's a whole load of extra bits to the law about the age gap between the two people, for example if an 19 year old and a 16 year old have sex they are both legal but it can still count as statutory rape or something... I don't know for sure.
How... how would they catch you? Do the patrol cars hear the noises with listening devices and then raid your house? If anyones been caught for this i feel very sorry for them.
