In Denmark it's 16.
At the age of 16 you are allowed to:
Have sex
Buy porn
Buy alcohol
drive scooters
and get your ass thrown in jail.

You can't buy cigarettes or drive a car until you're 18 though.

Some of your countries have fucked up laws. Like being unable to date before a certain age (How do you define dating, and how the hell do you enforce such a law), and different age of consent for different types of sex. Thats just weird.

Anyway here in denmark its 15 for sex, 16 for drinking, 18 for driving and smoking.

Here in Texas the age of consent is 17 and the only problem I have with it is that if a person can legally have sex at 17 then why is it illegal to buy porn at that age even though you are having sex?

I might be biased by all the stupid younger teens around here. Some of them making some stupid decisions (walking around alone late at night, hanging around the seedy areas of town, etc)

Here in Canada it's 14 with in 5 years until 18. Meaning a 14 year old can go as old as 19, 15 as old as 20. Until 18 then you can have sex with as old as you want. So a 18 year old can't go to jail for having sex with a 17 year old. Also it let's people 14+ buy condoms legally and stuff like that. Kids will be having sex regardless and denying them access to condoms would just be penalizing the ones who want to be safe. I'm happy with our system.

Sometimes...

This is why I don't like these laws people mature differently or never. And sometimes people think they're old enough to make their own decisions when they were never ready to begin with.

I think the age of consent in Michigan is 17 if you are under 21 or 18 if you are over 21.

and 12 and 13 seem to be about the time most of the pregnancies happen around here.....
