One of my favourite gigs ever, of all time, was Alexisonfire at the Camden Barfly. It was incredible. Sold out in about 10 minutes, tiny venue, completely packed, the heat, the intensity of the atmosphere, everyone had a great time, the band ended up in the crowd and the crowd ended up on stage.

I will never forget certain moments of losing it completely at this gig :)

Jeff Beck. His music moved me in ways I can't quite explain. He is more guitar then man, in complete control of his instrument, every note was perfect.

For the music I'd say Metallica at Earl's Court in London (2003).
For the stageshow and overall spectacle I'd say Iron Maiden at Newcastle's Metro Arena (also 2003).
For the band-to-crowd banter I'd say Thunder at Newcastle City Hall (2009).

Think the last 'big' gig I attended was Green Day in 2005 at the MK Bowl.
Jimmy Eat World & Taking Back Sunday supported.
Not a huge fan of Green Day but TBS were awesome.

Saw Lagwagon for like the 4th time in 2007, and as usual they were amazing.

Don't usually go to many concerts... But the most recent one I went to was probably the best... That was Van Halen in 2007...

I've seen a few good bands but I'd have to say A Day to Remember at Soundwave in Feburary has been the best. The energy was incredible and they sounded amazing, I'd love to see them again at No Sleep Til but I can't afford it :(. Close runners up are Bullet For My Valentine, Escape the Fate and MCR.

I've seen them at least half a dozen times, and they're always amazing.

I'm also seeing Muse in less than two weeks, which should be amazing.
Best concert I ever saw was Muse when they played in Vancouver last April. Blew my mind to pieces.
Saw them in Wembley in September. Amazing doesn't begin to cover it... Especially with Biffy Clyro supporting.
The second they started playing Uprising, the entire crowd basically exploded. Which was nothing compared to the reaction when they played Hysteria.
One of the guys I went to see them with had seen them 5 times in various places. I'm jealous.

The Prodigy's Warrior's Dance Festival at Milton Keynes Bowl, 27th of July 2010.
Greatest night of my entire life.
Every act seemed flawless from the crowd point of view, and even if they weren't the energy the music caused in the audience was enough that if Justin Bieber came and sang during a Chase & Status dubstep song, no one would've really cared.
I enjoyed the aboslute shit out of every band there on the main stage, and loved it.
Not my video, but someone who filmed it from round the edges. Did a damn good job.

On top of the epic mosh pits, the Enter Shikari human pyramid and the Chase and Status bottle fight, I got squeezy with a 35 year old woman, later vomited because I got hit in the chest during ES, and danced nearly non-stop during the Prodigy. Now that I look back at it, I must've looked a right twat but I didn't care; the energy during their set was just too much to not move to. There was a little 5-6 year old kid near me breakdancing too.

EDIT:

ROGER WATERS! The show was awesome, pyrotechnics, grreat music (played perfectly), and they built a fucking WALL on the stage. It was awesome. I saw him preform the wall in october. It might have helped that every one was smoking (weed) so I probably got contact high, but regardless, it was awesome

ACDC 'Black Ice' tour in Warsaw in May this year.

They performed all of their greatest hits, made a great show (among many, many stuff, they entered the stage with a steam train, they rung the Hell's Bell, and they fired cannons and fireworks during a two-song encore [one of them was obviously Highway to Hell]), and a motherfucking 17- minute (I counted) guitar solo by Angus Young. So much energy and awesomeness, I couldn't sleep that night, and my throat had to recover at least two days, after my voice chords were shattered from screaming. In fact, I need to listen to ACDC right now after just typing this.

Close second would be Opeth concert last year. No fireworks, just an ordinary show, but Polish fans once again managed to show the world, that we can make the best crowd on the planet. We sang 'Happy Birthday' to Mikael (twice, once in English and once in Polish, even though Opeth's 10th anniversary was in 2010, as Mikael noted afterwards, but who cares :p), made a lot of noise, and we sang Drapery Falls, when Mike asked us to. Looks like he never expected us to do so well, because he was mighty surprised judging from the look. Amazing experience. And looks like Opeth liked it too, since they performed in Poland thrice in a 2 years span :p

All of them were memorable but the best I'd have to say were Nightwish at Birmingham (The last time they came to the UK with Tarja singing) and Lynyrd Skynyrd at the Hammersmith Apollo. Watching a guy in his mid-late 50's crowd surfing from the back of the room all the way down to the front during the solo of Freebird is something I won't forget.

I'm not sure if you can see that video, but at least try. I filmed it during the gig.

I went to a gig where Skindred and Flogging Molly both played. Ragga metal + irish folk punk = insanity.

Hmm...probably Rise Against. So much energy, went crowd surfing to the last song, got absolutely thrashed, but goddamnit, what an experience.
Yeah, Rise against were great when they came to Ireland. God damn the fans pissed me off though. Probably the most annoying crowd I've ever seen at a gig.

Anyways, my top gigs would be Machine head, Jonathan Coulton and Pearl Jam.
They were all amazing in completely different ways.
