All that stuff from Fight Science and related programs that use physics to show just how badass martial artists are through science. Like how a champion Muay Thai fighter's knee is more powerful than being hit by a car going something like 40 mph.

Aero gel or "Blue smoke", if that stuff where any less dense it wouldnt be there it's 95% air or something to that effect.

the best application of physics i can think of is to create the movie "transformers 2", although in all seriousness i'd have to say ...
forensics <-- the chemical processes used rely on physics to work, the computer programs use advanced physics formulae to reverse the destruction of a bullet, using physics they can determine where a bullet came from, etc, etc.
it may not be as cool as telsa coils and rollercoasters, but it saves lives which is more than people can say about rollercoasters and funny cubes (although i did think that thing was awesome)
