From England? The Beatles.

From my area? Stand Out Riot. They played at the Royal Albert Hall, so I'm sticking with they're semi-famous.

Kid Rock, Andrew WK or Ted Nugent.

The state is Michigan, for the record. A.WK was born in Cali, but moved to MI at a very young age (like 4 or something).
Ted Nugent I can Agree with
not sure who Andrew WK is
and kid rock? No
i think that the white stripes should be there
not kid rock
What's wrong w/ Kid Rock?

Andrew WK had an appearance on ATHF, he did the song "Party Hard" and is generally awesome in everything he does.

While we're talking White Stripes, you ever hear of a band called the Muggs?

Aussie, and I won't speak for the whole country for the sake of freedom of opinion, but I reckon Sneaky Sound System is awesome out of NSW.

(Yes, I do indeed have a crippling fear of offending anybody on the net)

England = win:
Led Zeppelin
Pink Floyd (cant believe no one's mentioned them)
Radiohead
Iron Maiden
Black Sabbath
Judas Priest
Muse
Queen

If only we had Tool and everything would be perfect. At least the bass player's English.

Edit: And the Beatles. I can't believe I forgot them. My brain must be melting.
