Whats the game you wanna see made as a movie?

1st of all... Pong the movie should not be a joke answer.

2nd honestly i think any good game should be made into a film just for fun, as long as its done right. it just gives a new or different perspective on the story and may becoime a new level of enjoyment.

3rd my quick list off my head of what games and why:

Toejam and Earl - it would just be cool, and i miss them
FFVII - If they aren't going to make a game remake, then i want a movie damnit! love it
Metal Gear Solid (all of them) - So good, although mgs4 is practically a movie in itself.
Pacman - Honestly, i think it could be done. If the right creative mind were to tackle it, it could be "LEGEN... wait for it... DARY"
Resident Evil - The Original, with the mansion and all (even the "amazing" dialogue)
Assassin's creed - entertaining for sure, get your assassin on.
Silent Hill - I want another one! with more Pyramid Head please
Portal - This has major potential for a great film
Soul Calibur - Focus on story behind the swords, i am sure a big chunk of gamers who play the series don't really know much at all about the plot/characters behind the game (even i don't read all that dialogue and skip to the fighting)
Tony Hawk Pro Sk... haha j/k i'm not that rediculous!

** OK wait! i just read some posts... the Silent Hill and Mario Bros movies were good! given i was younger when i saw the mario one, but it was funny. I am an avid fan of Silent Hill and i enjoyed the movie (me being a big fan of the series might be the reason though)

I think Bioshock would make an interesting movie but their would be two importent problems with it:
1. Jack never talks, so his character would have to be completely designed by the scriptwriters and director.
2. Their are lots of small details in the Bioshock plot which would be easy to ignore but if ignored would make some things not make sense.
3. In the gmae the recordings you find tell alot of the story, but they wouldn't make sense in the movie.

Team Fortress. Why the hell not? You've all seen the "Meet the Team" vidjas, right? Although the idea of two teams made up of multiple versions of the same person might confuse.

I'd say Bioshock but I don't think it'd get the treatment it deserves.

they are already making a movie about Bioshock... if i remember correct.

I'd personally like to see a lot of games becoming movies: assassins creed, ninja gaiden, GoW would be funny with all the chest high walls scattered about, legend of zelda, A good mario movie would be nice...

Though theyd probably screw up as usual, Id like to see Sanitarium made a movie. Maybe if the director is good enough they can really capture the essence of insanity from that game.

i dont see how assassins creed could be a game... 80% of the game is just getting information... itd get annoying. bioshock? really? decent storyline but the end was.... just terrible... id say Mass Effect. all the aspects of a movie.
