Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. I've played glitchier games, but this is the only game that has actively glitched me into anger.

Oblivion, but the only reason it beats Fallout 3 to the title is that I put way more playtime into it so it had more opportunities to crash. Then again I did persevere with Oblivion until I completed it, whereas I gave up with Fallout after 30 hours.
Well. I got Fallout: New Vegas and not only would it periodically crash, whenever it did work all the sound would be messed up and play several seconds to a minute after it should.
Fallout 3 also crashed a lot, as did Oblivion. In fact, Morrowind is the only Bethesda game I've played that didn't crash all the time.

I'd have to say Quake and Quake 2. They were hellatious before patches.
Funny, though - as much as people seem to gripe about modern titles, they're nowhere near as bad as they were 10 years ago. At least nowadays you don't need to worry about a game damaging your hardware or corrupting your HDD and/or OS installation.

I usually don't buy glitchy games because of bad press, but I did mess up and buy Mercenaries 2.

I still have a copy of Seven Kingdoms: Conquest sitting on my shelf. It is unplayable, and will not be fixed.

Ran through the floor several times, ran into rooms before they loaded and died, homing attack failed to home many times, homing attack stopped just before enemies and got me killed. The game sucks, anyone who defends that game must have brain damage because it's HORRIBLE. It's unbearably glitchy and poorly made.
I microwaved it and I don't regret it.

Dragon Age: Awakening not only had all the bugs that "fully-patched" Origins had yet to fix (the weapon speed bug, the various hostility-modifiers, a bug that prevents an achievement from popping properly, etc.), but included several new bugs of its own, including a glitch that made the elfroot XP exploit from Origins look like a waste of money.
So yeah, Awakening is the most buggy mess I've played in recent memory. I've played Daggerfall, but I never really got into it, so I never encountered most of the game-destroying glitches that thing had.

Can't really think of any. And I haven't encountered a glitch in Fallout: New Vegas yet, so I guess luck me.

most glichy? well New vagas takes that one but the worst game in game breaking gliches is online black ops it is horrible hit detection:BAD lags? MANY seems like everyone knows where you are even when you have ghost no uav blackbird and nonja and they immediatly kill you and the community is such a *****.
probably the most recent is black ops for the PS3 all it does is crash and stall and dissconnect and on the zombie mode thers constant little bugs like the zombies dissapearing and then on combat training where half the bots just stand still and dont do anything
