Test Drive unlimited 2.

The servers are still a bit dodgy, but besides that I would reccomend this game to anyone!

Fallout: New Vegas

Once you get past the bugs and glitches(I only ran into two small ones over 30+ gametime), it's an open ended do-whatever-gets-you-warm party.

And punching killer robots in the face is always fun.

Radiant Historia.

I wouldn't recommend it because the story is mediocre... Although the gameplay is at least different from any other jrpgs I have seen lately but that alone is not enough to save it.

Ar tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel. I haven't played it yet, so I can't really give you a judgment yet.

I got DA2 for the 360. If you're one of the many who thought Origins was the bee's knees, then you will most likely hate this game. But if you weren't too fond of Origins or you can judge the game on its own merits, you might, just might, actually have some fun with the game.

I know I am.

Better that than a whole bunch of perfect clones like in DW6. This also allowed them to let each character carry 2 weapons at once, which they can switch any time, even mid-combo - and switching weapons sometimes grants a bonus power depending on which weapons are being switched. You're basically going to want to use their main weapon as their first weapon no matter what, but there's actually a lot of thought you have to put into the second weapon.

Trust me, it works.

Crysis 2 - God fuckin' no. Avoid it like the plague. I actually managed to get a refund on it thats how bad it was!
Everyone's entitled to their opinion, and mine thus far is that Crysis 2 is great. What, might I ask, is so wrong with it? I've had no problems in any of the modes so far, it's been a hell of a game for me. However, getting the other side of the opinion is always good to know.
Well, I came from the original Crysis and a lot of changes rubbed me the wrong way. Its probably my fault for not researching it properly. I didn't get further than 5 or 6 hours into the singleplayer but I felt it was a big step down from Crysis. I missed the large open areas, destruction in the environments, enemy AI that wasn't constantly wigging out and dancing in place.
I also didn't care much for the fact they ditched a lot of the characters and story from the first game, although I'll admit there really wasn't much of a "story". I also didn't care for the new suit micromanagement(especially in multiplayer).
I was also hugely disappointed to find out that I couldn't create my own games to play with friends(A trend in most newer games that annoys the hell outta me). Instead you have to buy a dedicated server or deal with trying to find one that matches what you want to play. Which also removed the map editor, fanmade maps, and mods. Also, no more vehicles in multiplayer.
I also encountered an immense pile of bugs when I first started playing. Most PC players did. The multiplayer was a train wreck, constantly resetting rank, saying your cd-key was in use, among others.
Surprisingly, I am not one of the people who cared about the lack of DX11 support at release and all the graphics complaints. However I know other PC gamers didn't care for it.
Anyway, that about sums up why I've been advising people to avoid Crysis 2 like the plague. Although I usually add a disclaimer that if they didn't play Crysis, they won't notice any of these things.

The last game I bought was Minecraft. 'Nuff said.
Before that was (a day or so before, mind.) Psychonauts and Sands of Destruction. Psychonauts is a game that Yahtzee likes, which shows the excellency of it. And finally, Sands of Destruction; It's a JRPG. I'd recommend it to JRPG fans, but not too many other groups of people.

Splatterhouse.

I only recommend it to the kind of person who devours '80's horror movies. You have to be willing to look past the terrible production and dated style and really steep in the Heavy Metal trashiness of it.

Splatterhouse is kind of like the later Nightmare on Elm Street sequels. It's the best thing ever if it's your thing.

I got Mount and Blade: Warband, it's pretty fun, you mostly just conquer a medieval Europe like land in battles. It's sort of an RPG, Action game.

DoW II: retribution.
And no, I don't recommend it. If it's anything less than twice as good as the game+expansion than preceded it, then I have been ripped off yet again. I wouldn't force someone I know to take a leap of faith like that. I'd might as well just flip a coin and take their money myself.

But I won't find out until it arrives from the UK, so maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

The first F.E.A.R, and I rather liked it actually. Oddly dated by now, with repetitive levels and dull graphics but it's still fun. And it managed to scare me, so £6 well spent I say.
