Love the Kung Pow reference

I've recently got into Assassins Creed. Managed to pick up the first one for £3, liked it, bought the second one for a tenner, which is much better than the first, and splashed out on Brotherhood, which is brilliant. Love setting my assassins on unsuspecting victims, the only downside is having to renovate stuff.

Definately worth getting, but I'd wait a few months for it to drop in price.

The last two games I bought were PSP titles. The 3rd Birthday and Dissidia 012[duodecim] Final Fantasy.

I would easily recommend both, The 3rd Birthday if you're a Parasite Eve fan and Dissidia 012 if you want fanservice and a fun little fighter. They were also rather affordable, $30 a piece instead of the usual $40.

Just Cause 2 and yes I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a ridiculously OTT sandbox style game

its not quite as good as the original, but the hate on the game is totally baseless.
Im not trying to flame here or restart the same old tired arguements, but I honestly dont get how you can say that- the game is for the most part broken- the characters display limited verisimillitude, the glitches are countless and the whole last mission is so poorly written its almost like its from another game.

Again Im not trying to flame Im just trying to understand how you can objectively come to that conclusion.
i have had no issues with glitches, Fenris is 1 of the best made characters in videogame history, and i quite enjoyed the ending.

call me optimistic or just daft, but i just cant see the issues in it. and it wasnt like Origins was glitch-free either.

Medal of Honor (I think - I buy way too many games). I've only played the first level or two of single player and it is decent. Weapons and movement handle nicely. I heard the campaign was pretty short though, but can't really complain, I got the game for $6.

It's really fun and moderately amusing, but it's really rather short. Then again, it has good replay value.
Yes, I reccomend it.

Pokemon White,
Would I recommend it? I'll say meh. Its one of those games you'll already know if you'll like it or not.

The Witcher. I've played the first hour of the game, and the combat, as well as the camera controls and the inability to change their positions, are terrible.

I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone.

I just discovered Play n Trade this week so...I kinda went overboard. The last game I got was more like the last 14 games I bought, 6 on the SNES and Xbox >.>

SNES:
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island [YES]
Mario Kart [YES]
Spider-Man and the X-Men: Arcade Revenge [haven't played enough of it yet but not yet put off]
Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers [a bit easier than I remembered. Loved fighting the Shining Gundam at the end]
Primal Rage [a MK clone but one of the good ones. I miss my toy Diablo]
Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions [deeper than I expected. Somewhat difficult and I prefer the Bugs Bunny one but this is still a yes]

Xbox:
Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams [different than I remember: Still yes]
Silent Hill 4: The Room [Yes]
XIII [YES]
Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance [haven't been able to play it yet]
Oddworld: Munches Odyssey [haven't played enough to say for sure]
Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind [YES YES YES]
Painkiller: Hell Wars [haven't been able to play yet]
The Punisher [YES]

---

I'm still in the process of moving so the Xbox games I listed up there were all played on a 360. I'm testing Painkiller and Metal Gear when I get back up north but while I was at PNT, I picked up the games I missed that I knew I would like and/or that I missed from the before time: from the long-long ago (IE: before I was old enough to work and buy my own games)

Pokemon Leaf Green. i was a big fan of Blue and Green is SO much better. currently in Rock Tunnel but with what's ahead it's SUCH an awesome game. especially as the story goes further and 2nd+ gen pokemon are available, like Lugia and Deoxys. i would definitely recommend it

Dragon Age Origins.

Pretty solid, but the combat is really rough for me, but I'm too embarrassed to turn down the difficulty.
If you want to carry through with that you'd best keep a rogue in your party towards the end.
I'm keeping Leliana and Morrigan in the party as must-haves, and Alistair is being used as a tank until I can get a better one.

My character is kinda worthless, for some reason. He's usually the first one in the party to die.

Any tips about that?

I know I shouldn't just charge in, but years of other RPGs have taught me to behave like that.
What are you playing as? I was a mage and I always had another ranged and two tanks with me and I never had any trouble until the final fight.

I bought Mass Effect 2 for the PS3. It's a crappy port with a million bugs that makes it unplayable at times.
It's a great game though, so get it for your 360 as soon as you can! :-D

He's a generic low-level warrior with a sword, shield, and very basic archery skills.

Not a particularly creative build, but decent enough, I suppose.

The last game I bought was Atom Zombie Smasher off Steam for ?10. It was well worth it. It takes a couple tries to get the hang of it, but once you do it's fun. It has a fair bit of replayability since there are so many settings and there's a nice sprinkling of humour. It's worth the ?10.
