Last game I bought was Portal 2. I paid it off in full. Today I will buy Vampire Smile off XBLA and having already played the demo, I can recommend it fully to anybody with an 360. Get this game, its fucking amazing.

I think it was about 12 hours or so, but that did include a lot of time where I was just standing there panning around the environments going 'oooh pretty!'

Dragon Age Origins.

Pretty solid, but the combat is really rough for me, but I'm too embarrassed to turn down the difficulty.
If you want to carry through with that you'd best keep a rogue in your party towards the end.
I'm keeping Leliana and Morrigan in the party as must-haves, and Alistair is being used as a tank until I can get a better one.

My character is kinda worthless, for some reason. He's usually the first one in the party to die.

Any tips about that?

I know I shouldn't just charge in, but years of other RPGs have taught me to behave like that.
What are you playing as? I was a mage and I always had another ranged and two tanks with me and I never had any trouble until the final fight.
He's a generic low-level warrior with a sword, shield, and very basic archery skills.

Not a particularly creative build, but decent enough, I suppose.
Well your first problem was not rolling mage. They're OP. Second was trying to multispec. If you stick with the tree you're furthest in you should be fine by the end, but you'll need to either have a really good healer mage of use a bunch of poultices.

WoW Cataclysm. If you already have Wrath of the Lich King, go for it. Excluding expansion packs, Mass Effect. And let the forum vouch for that, it's at least decent. Not really "RPG" enough to suit my tastes, but it's a good game.

RealMyst (on Steam)

I only suggest buying it if you're a die-hard Myst fan like myself, because otherwise you probably won't enjoy this game. I bought this game mostly as a replacement for my Anniversary edition of Myst which UbiSoft has pretty much dropped all support for and doesn't work because of the last Windows Service pack update on Windows XP and Windows Vista. Don't know if the Anniversary edition works on 7 or not.

New Vegas, 'cause my friend told me GameStop was selling it for new for $20. So I was like "Lolnoway", went and checked it out, and yeah. It really WAS $20.

I'm enjoying it, it feels so much more like Fallout 2 than 3 did, and really just feels more like Fallout in general. Add to that the tweaked graphics (it really does look nicer), greatly improved AIs and animal behaviors...

Yeah. I recommend it. It's amusing me.

Shit, dude. Did you get the same deal as I did? I just picked it up last Sunday from Gamestop for $20 bucks and have been absorbed in it ever since! It's a great game, much better than 3! Sure, the bugs are a bit tough to get past and the game crashes often, but damn if it isn't one of the best Western RPGs out there right now. It's totally worth the 20 bucks I spent on it. You should all get it. Get it nao.
I've got it for PS3, and haven't had a single game-breaking bug. The worst I've had so far, is every once in awhile, the AI will simply stop shooting at me, but keep pointing their gun at me.
I got it for the PS3 myself, but as they say the mileage may vary. Mine's crashed a lot, but the game is still worth every moment.

Crysis 2 and yes, everything feels smoother(more detailed too, especially in animation when the guys you're shooting don't look like they're made of wood) and more streamlined, the fun bits are still there, more weapons to play with and the maps in Crysis 1 all felt pretty much like wide corridors with circular bases dumped in the middle so that part of it doesn't bother me either really.

Pick one fighting style and stick with it. Trying to build two fighting styles will only weaken your character.

Last game I bought?

Dishwasher Vamppire Smile on Xbox Live Arcade. It's really an amazing game with a pretty friggin cool art style and some great characters. A very good story too.

But full box game had to be Marvel Vs Capcom 3, and hell yes I'd recommend that.

The XBLA indie game FortressCraft, yes, I would highly recommend it. I don't give a shit about the Minecraft fanboys, hell the game will just get better from here on!

Only bad thing is the bugs right now, they're pretty big but within the next week they'll be fixed.
This game made top rated within a couple of hours :D go buy it to support ProjectorGames. It's the closest us xbox gamers will ever get to Minecraft!

I've set almost everyone to auto-level, since I'm not particularly good with skill trees, but will that end up ruining me?

Morrigan seems to be getting a lot of combat spells...

Yeah, plus it has good replay value as you can tackle most of the missions in different ways each time. It kind of sandbox-ish in its approach.

Last game I got was Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition for PS3 because it was £15.

If you had lots of time to invest in it (which I unfortunately don't at the moment) and you like RPG's, especially Baldur's Gate, then yes.

NEVER AUTO-LEVEL. IT IS THE DEVIL
For the non-mages just keep specializing them into their chosen combat disciplines. For Mages, you should have a healer and a AoE/Offensive mage or ranged unit.

Halo: Reach.

I'm not getting the story at all, I don't really care about the characters, but dammit, I'm loving this game. Both campaign (which I haven't finished) and multiplayer gameplay are frantic and a hell of a lot of fun, it's exactly what the shooter genre needs more of: It's unrealistic, over-the-top, and made to be as much fun as possible. Worth every penny.
