Last game I bought was Portal 2. I paid it off in full. Today I will buy Vampire Smile off XBLA and having already played the demo, I can recommend it fully to anybody with an 360. Get this game, its fucking amazing.

I think it was about 12 hours or so, but that did include a lot of time where I was just standing there panning around the environments going 'oooh pretty!'DEATHROAD said:How long is the single player roughly, i usually dont spend money for just the single player unless its a rpg, but crysis 2 has really taken my fancy.
Well your first problem was not rolling mage. They're OP. Second was trying to multispec. If you stick with the tree you're furthest in you should be fine by the end, but you'll need to either have a really good healer mage of use a bunch of poultices.smearyllama said:He's a generic low-level warrior with a sword, shield, and very basic archery skills.Fenring said:What are you playing as? I was a mage and I always had another ranged and two tanks with me and I never had any trouble until the final fight.smearyllama said:I'm keeping Leliana and Morrigan in the party as must-haves, and Alistair is being used as a tank until I can get a better one.Fenring said:If you want to carry through with that you'd best keep a rogue in your party towards the end.smearyllama said:Dragon Age Origins.
Pretty solid, but the combat is really rough for me, but I'm too embarrassed to turn down the difficulty.
My character is kinda worthless, for some reason. He's usually the first one in the party to die.
Any tips about that?
I know I shouldn't just charge in, but years of other RPGs have taught me to behave like that.
Not a particularly creative build, but decent enough, I suppose.
I got it for the PS3 myself, but as they say the mileage may vary. Mine's crashed a lot, but the game is still worth every moment.Koeryn said:I've got it for PS3, and haven't had a single game-breaking bug. The worst I've had so far, is every once in awhile, the AI will simply stop shooting at me, but keep pointing their gun at me.AngelOfBlueRoses said:Koeryn said:New Vegas, 'cause my friend told me GameStop was selling it for new for $20. So I was like "Lolnoway", went and checked it out, and yeah. It really WAS $20.
I'm enjoying it, it feels so much more like Fallout 2 than 3 did, and really just feels more like Fallout in general. Add to that the tweaked graphics (it really does look nicer), greatly improved AIs and animal behaviors...
Yeah. I recommend it. It's amusing me.
Shit, dude. Did you get the same deal as I did? I just picked it up last Sunday from Gamestop for $20 bucks and have been absorbed in it ever since! It's a great game, much better than 3! Sure, the bugs are a bit tough to get past and the game crashes often, but damn if it isn't one of the best Western RPGs out there right now. It's totally worth the 20 bucks I spent on it. You should all get it. Get it nao.
Pick one fighting style and stick with it. Trying to build two fighting styles will only weaken your character.smearyllama said:He's a generic low-level warrior with a sword, shield, and very basic archery skills.Fenring said:What are you playing as? meh, 12 hours sounds about worth it, and it does look good, thanks for the adviceMiracleOfSound said:Treblaine said:"How many hours long is the campaign, would you say...I think it was about 12 hours or so, but that did include a lot of time where I was just standing there panning around the environments going 'oooh pretty!'DEATHROAD said:How long is the single player roughly, i usually dont spend money for just the single player unless its a rpg, but crysis 2 has really taken my fancy.
I've set almost everyone to auto-level, since I'm not particularly good with skill trees, but will that end up ruining me?Fenring said:Well your first problem was not rolling mage. They're OP. Yeah, plus it has good replay value as you can tackle most of the missions in different ways each time. It kind of sandbox-ish in its approach.DEATHROAD said:meh, 12 hours sounds about worth it, and it does look good, thanks for the adviceMiracleOfSound said:Treblaine said:"How many hours long is the campaign, would you say...I think it was about 12 hours or so, but that did include a lot of time where I was just standing there panning around the environments going 'oooh pretty!'DEATHROAD said:How long is the single player roughly, i usually dont spend money for just the single player unless its a rpg, but crysis 2 has really taken my fancy.![]()

Morrigan seems to be getting a lot of combat spells...
