Honorable Mention Requiem for a Dream, American History X, Bringing out the Dead, 8MM, The Insider, A Perfect World, Leaving Las Vegas, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Hotel Rwanda.

Sometimes a movie will have some sad parts like Up and Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, but I definitely don't count them because they had really uplifting parts as well.

This thread reminded me of when i was a little kid.
A film about a dog, films called Fluke. SOOO SAD I WILL CRY SOME MORE. Haven't seen it in years actually.

Hostel Part 2 makes you lose your faith in humanity. It's not the gore but the overthetop sadism
