Flake is pretty much always shark, and I don't think anyone considers 'fish 'n' chips' exotic. =p

Flake is always shark unlike your local chip shop are shady fucks.

Strangely enough "butterfish" (the default fish you get with fish and chip in Oz) is usually school shark.

Shark, snake, various organs (lungs, kidneys, livers, stomach, large & small intestines), fish swim bladders, kangaroo, silkworms (from the cocoon), gizzards, snails, turtle jelly, rabbit, pig ears, duck/cow/pig tongues, ostrich, camel. Also various shellfish (so lobsters, crabs, soft-shelled crabs etc.)

The absolute most unusual meat I've ever had is a kangaroo burger. It tasted pretty good, like a very heavy beef. Cost about ?8, though.
