The most exotic meat I've ever eaten is spiced emu (damn tasty!). I've also had bison, venison, and veal, none of which I really consider "exotic" (but also tasty).

...Man.

I kid, of course, unless you'd count chewing my fingernails a kid.

Probably Squid. Come to think of it, I don't eat that much exotic food. Hmm... =\ Of course, I did hear on the radio a while back about how a the occasional bit of "British Beef" actually comes from some bizarre cattle-like animal from South America.

Kangarooooooooo. Its well nice. Basically beef, but well nice.

I will not eat anything without a spine. That is my limit. Bugs, squid, octopuses, etc, I have and never will touch.

There was that one man from south east Asia...

I kid. I can't stand the taste of most meats, so I don't really have one. I just came in to make a cock joke.

I stick to my own thank you. Those extra verterbrae were the best surgery I ever had.
That sounds tasty :D

cannibalism jokes :D
Very, thank you.

Not quite cannibalism...think what you could do if your spine could stretch a little further. ;)

wild boar
Funny thing did you know that most wild boar you buy is not actually wild boar but rather farmed.
A lot of places have laws about the sale of 'wild' game. yeah it's mostly farmed. Here for instance you can get moose if someone hunts it legally, but you can't buy it in a store or get it in a restaurant.

Zebra, Kangaroo, Ostrich, and Alligator burgers. They were quite tasty. Alligator tasted like pork.

Exotic? Well, considering how "exotic" technically means "foreign"...

Nothing. But I have eaten things that most people haven't.

I have eaten alligator (just yesterday, in fact) and cabrito, or roasted goat. They are both really good.

I've also eaten venison, quail, pheasant, and squirrel.

My dad hunts, so I've tasted a lot of very unconventional meats.

I just had some crocodile filets and i actually quite enjoyed it. A very light and delicate flavor which contrasts ironically with the animals nature :p

My question to you: what would you say the most exotic meat you've eaten has been?
I've had crocodile too when I visited New Orleans last year. Really tasty stuff, especially with the little spicy sauce that was on the side, and since it was in bite sized chunks it was perfect for dipping.

Ostrich, reindeer, shark. None of them were going to instantly jump into my "favorite meats" category but they were alright.

I'm also fairly sure at a rather dodgy chinese restaurant once I ate dog...unintentionally but looking back there was no way in hell it was 'pork'

Depends on what your definition of "meat" is, because I've eaten live chocolate covered earthworms, live chocolate covered witchetty grub and fried sweet and sour crickets/grasshopper (I can't remember which), squid and octopus.

If you mean something that actually had a spine then I've had: rat, pigeon, horse, ostrich, duck, rabbit, gray squirrel, quail, pheasant, goat, snake (don't know what kind of snake, it was already skinned and dead) and ox.

I also had Zebra jerky once, but I don't know if that counts.
