My experience was that it was dry and kinda... off.Impluse_101 said:Buffalo. It's pretty darn amazing.
I'm pretty ignorant of Australian culture, are kangaroos a commonly farmed animal? Ive never considered it before, I just assumed it was similar to deer in my area. An animal mostly left alone aside from hunting season and uncommonly farmed for meat.Lizardon said:Kangaroo meat. But it isn't considered that exotic here in Australia. Tasted like beef.
Smoked bull tongue is quite delicious. Kinda tastes like smoked ham.bleachigo10 said:Cow tongue.
Me: "This is pretty good, what is it?"
Dad: "It's cow tongue."
Me: "...I don't want to eat it anymore."
Something about eating the tongue of an animal disturbs me.
Rocky Mountain Oysters are surprisingly quite good. I ate them breaded along with a Buffalo Cheeseburger a few years ago, it was delicious.Dags90 said:Greasy?ReservoirAngel said:It definitely tasted like I'd expect Walrus to taste though...
I've had Rocky Mountain Oysters before, even though it comes from cows which aren't particularly exotic. But I mean really, how many of you can say you've had testicle before? A manlier dish doesn't exist.
