I don't know, I do however have a strange urge to say Killer Tomatoes Eat France! from 1991. I have seen older films like Ben-Hur from the 50s and The Day the Earth Stood Still from 1951..but I still want to say Killer Tomatoes Eat France!.

Something about that title is very amusing.

"Kind Hearts and Coronets" is excelent, 1949.

And of course: Metropolis, 1927.

I suspect I like it at least in part due to the 1980's Queen soundtrack for it.

Probably some of the old Laurel & Hardy films. If they do not count, then the Marx brothers surely do.

Crossroads, I think. I may have enjoyed older ones and not noticed how old they were, but as far as I know Crossroads is the oldest.

That's Steve Vai as the devil's mistro Crossroads, not Britney Spears Crossroads.

Either Dr. Strangelove, The Ladykillers (original) or any of the Marx Brothers movies. They're all spectacular, awesome, and a bunch of other superlatives.

All Quiet on the Western Front (1933)

A masterpiece and the best movie ever made about WWI.

Oldest one that I am aware of liking is 12 Angry Men, from 1957 I think. It's one of my favourite movies too.

Nosferatu (1922)

Count Orlok is still the creepiest vampire I can think of (technically Dracula in the movie, but that was before the lawsuit battle)... just by the way he looks and how me moves (especially combined with the old movie tech that adds to how creepy and surreal it is)

PLUS:
It's PUBLIC DOMAIN. Watch it on YouTube if you want- its a milestone of cinema and I highly recommend it
