Clash at Demonhead for the NES. My newest would be Dungeon Siege 3. I really don't care for either game. If I had to choose, I would probably choose Clash at Demonhead.

My copy of Super Mario Bros/Duckhunt for the NES. I doubt Ill ever get anything older since I don't care to much about playing anything before the NES outside of arcade machines.

My oldest game is Super Mario allstars for the SNES.

My newest game is Shadows of the damned for the PS3

Which do I prefer? Aw, come on, don't make me choose, I love them equally, Shadows of the damned is probably one of the most fun games I have played in a while, and I love old school Mario. My brother, on the other hand, chooses Shadows of the damned.

Donkey Kong for the Colecovision would be the oldest in my collection, 3 copies of it to be precise.

Newest is the copy Monster Hunter Portable 3rd that I imported as a Xmas/Birthday present. Definitely a good move.

I think the oldest is Spy Hunter for the Commodore 64 (from 1983).

Newest is Duke Nukem: Forever.

Which do you think I would rather play?

The oldest would be all of my N64 games, so Banjo-Kazooie, Super Mario 64 and Zelda: Ocarina of Time because I got them all at the same time.

(I got given my N64 by my cousin when I was a kid, and those just happened to be the only games he had for it, lucky me)

Newest? Monster Hunter Tri for the Wii.

I bought that today and have only played an hour of it (in solo, too) so I can't really compare yet, plus I never finished any of my N64 games due to being a nooby kid at the time, I don't really fancy going back and completing them, it wouldn't be the same as if I was still a kid anyway.

Oldest: Warcraft 2 (1996 for PC)
Note that it's the oldest I currently have, there older ones, but I was a small kid at the time and have no idea what happened to them, along with Atari I used at the time. I started storing games when I was about thirteen.

Newest: The Witcher 2 (May 2011)

Unfortunately, my oldest game would probably be Mario Kart 64. Latest physical game is Portal 2. A shame that my parents gave away my old SNES. You can imagine how pissed I was...

Ape Escape for the playstation.
Portal 2 for the ps3.
Personally......I couldn't choose if I had to.
Both are charming, clever games that make the players actively think of best way to solve a problem whether it be (in portals case) to get from point A to point B or (in ape escapes case) to sneak up on the little monkeys or to just totally bum rush them. If you didn't choose the right approach or hesitate, they either get away or they would get into a giant robot that will beat the shit out of you and your little glowing net...
