So many, so many, but if I had to pick one, then Eragon is right freaking up there. The books are some of my absolute favorites, and knowing the reputation of movies made from books, I did not want to go ever. BUT I went against my better judgement and saw it anyway because one of my friends wanted to see it. To avoid a full on rant I'll just say that it felt like the entire goal of this films creators was to systematically destroy almost every imporant scene in the book.

"But I'm A Cheerleader!"

I have no idea how the makers of this film thought that it could possibly be funny, inspiring charming or in the least bit watchable. It is a smug, hateful movie thats trying to deal with the topic of those imbecilic "pray the gay away" camps but fails in every respect of confronting any issues and it is purely awful. Garish performances, weak storytelling, bad scripting, mediocre camera work and editing it is pure cinematic bile. Had to watch it because one of my exes (who fancied herself an outspoken bisexual but was just a poser) claimed it was magnificent and her favourite movie. Dear God, what a fool.

In close second, The Matrix Revolutions. The only flick I've ever walked out on in a cinema.
Jamie Babbit was the lady who directed it.
That was her first movie and has done a lot better things such as directing episodes of Gilmore Girls, Malcolm in the Middle, United States of Tara, Nip/Tuck and The L Word.
I have seen the movie and it could have been better done but you never know what you are doing on the first time you make a movie. so obviously you need to take it with a grain of salt but there are far worse movies that but I'm a cheerleader.
I think saying "It was her first movie" is a pretty weak excuse for being as bad as it is. Plenty of directors have a début with other delight, not utter diarrhoea. I don't think its a coincidence that she has stayed on TV rather than film. Its a hell of a lot easier working on programs that already have an established format and style. Indeed that was one of the problems with the flick, it was so haphazard and unbalanced, lacking definition. When a movie is awful like Manos The Hands of Fate is awful or Street Fighter is awful, they at least can be ENJOYED as bad movies. But I'm a Cheerleader sits in a stinkswamp of awkward petulance and stays in my mind as one of the worst afternoons I have ever had.

And so what if they wanted cult statues? Boo-hoo someone made a movie the way they wanted and for for themselves and not for hollywood, are we supposed to hate this?
It was for Hollywood. It was for consumerism. No movie ever made has been a more blatant cash grab, not even On Stranger Tides. Hot Topic-shopping teenage "nonconformists" are as lowest common denominator as you can get, and if they're shopping at overpriced, godforsaken Hot Topic, then their parents' pockets are heavy enough to endorse a terrible film. I mean, yeah, Repo! tanked(thank God), but it doesn't take a genius to know that that was the rationale behind the film's entire existence.

"Dream Warrior" ..... Lance Henriksen ... why ??! Why did you agree to this ?!?!

I .. I just can't recall the film. My mind has blocked it out; it's so bad, it's like some kind of PTSD.

Blood and Chocolate, a book adaptation that takes only 2 things from it's source material. Names, and werewolves. Literally nothing else is the same.

Also Southland Tales caught some hate from me, primarily because it was 3 hours long, largely lacked coherentness and good dialog, except at the end. And cuz my friend started watching it when we came over to game, and refused to turn it off.

I saw 'wing commander' many years ago because a friend liked (and still likes) pretty much every flight game that comes out. It was really bad, I don't remember much about it other than I punched my friend in the shoulder like three times when it was done. He did not protest.

For the record I didn't find sucker punch confusing at all... I thought it was okay C+.

I saw my young sister watch it on DVD. It had bad humor, the plot was stupid, and it kept shifting between a musical, a drama film and a teen flick.
Note that the only review worthy enough to go on the cover was from Yahoo Movie Mom. Then again, for a bad film to even get a positive review from someone is quite an achievement.

Aw, come on, it was meant to be a kid's film. Yeah, it's corny and the CGI isn't realistic, but at least it was actually funny.

Transformers. I watch B-Movies and bad movies for fun. And Transformers was the most horrible thing ever. There was nothing funny about it, it all came across so serious that it sucked all the fun out of it.

I was severely disappointed with Sucker Punch. The plot made no sense.
I literally fell asleep during Fantastic Four 2 and Tears of the Sun, so those couldn't have been that good.

But the most I've ever hated having a movie take 90 minutes of my life was with a Richard Gere film called The Mothman Prophecies. I barely remember anything about it other than being utterly bored and uninterested in the main character thinking something supernatural is going to happen to him. Utterly useless film.

Transmorphers, a transformers knock off only got through 10 minutes. Anything with Owen Wilson is second because he can only play that garbage hippie ass role.

How do you Know, I really wanted to walk out, but I had to stay, I was there with some housemates, and they get so stressed out over nothing, so I stayed.

There is no logical reason for her dilema over the 2 blokes, Jack Nicholson is completly wasted in it and the Sony product placements in the film got me so anoyed that I bought a Dell over a Vaio!
