What do you think needs to be changed to make a better world?

Ofc, there's a lot of stuff that's kind of fucked up today, but if you could single something out, what would that might be?

The first thing that hits me is that people seldom wants to take responsibility. So many times when the shit hits the fan, everybody just seems to want to cover their own ass instead of owning up to what might have been their doing.

I'm not saying it would change the world, but I think I'd like a world where people could actually just admit their faults or actions and try to improve rather than hide.

I agree with the OT, personal responsibility would go a long way towards making this a better world, that and a spell check for these forum replies, I'm getting tired of using MS word to check my spelling.

I think most of the world's governments need to be destroyed and replaced with unpaid volunteers (the only pay they recieve being cost of living and a bit more for luxuries). That way, they can't vote for more cash and they can spend it on things to improve the country that voted them into power.

There are a lot more things (bad parenting etc.) but you asked for one and this one is my current gripe.

Lower the retail price of video games, write manuals that make sense and for God's sake get rid of one-shot-killers in RPGs.

Yes I know the world has way more serious problems but at least this is a reasonably attainable goal.

Oh, and get rid of douches like Jack Thompson or at least find some way to disable his means of communication. Is it too much to ask?

I'm honestly at the point where I believe this. It starting to get so tense I can almost cut it. Every one is on edge and I think if it's not released soon, well, nuclear holocost isn't exactly impossible....so yeah, a nice world war with minimal nuke usage would be a nice stress relief.

I could not agree with you anymore with you on that.
It's a little depressing how the wanton slaughter of millions of people is a 'good' way to improve humanity.

You'd think we'd have learned our lessons.

Honestly? If people would stop griping about "how much the world has changed" or "how bad the world is" and actually did something.

We live in the 21st century. Most of us can expect to live to at least 60, and in great comfort. Things weren't "better" 50 years ago, or 60 or however many years ago various old people will tell us. Things are awesome NOW.

Zombie apocalypse. Sure, it'd be really bad for a while... but then after a few months or so, most of the zombies would have rotted away. The very few people who survived would be the fittest, smartest and most sensible people of the planet.

People is wrong with the world today. And there will always be idiots and corrupt politicians bringing people down.

What we need to do is to train dolphins and sharks to get along, equip them with cannons that shoot lasers and let them destroy all of humanity, then sink all the continents into the ocean.

That would make the world fine again.

They brought in pay for politicans for a reason, so people who weren't wealthy could have a place in office.
