Welsh going back a few hundred years, never inquired further than that. I'm told since the celts. Name is a handful for non-welsh speakers though. Gerallt

Half Finnish, quarter Irish, one eighth Dutch and one eighth English
Basically one half of my family is this singular, pure Finnish monolith, and the other half went buggering anything that moved throughout Europe.

Half Polish royalty.

My great grandfather was abandoned in a basket , had diapers with golden thread and with a note saying that he's part of some royalty in Poland. I am serious.
Rest is Romanian.

Ermm I do believe pure English (Yeah yeah I don't count all the invasions and stuff, don't be pedantic).

Yeah it's not a very interesting ancestry, to be honest.

Normally live on the East Coast of Scotland (except for this 1 year in the US)

98% Scottish, 2% Irish.
Although If I were to do some proper research and go really far back, I suspect that I might have some Germanic/Norwegian origins as well because of the Viking presence in Scotland.

I live in the East Midlands of England in the UK.
I'm Half Irish, about a Third English and the rest is German...
If there was another World War in a similar vein as the previous ones, I'm pretty sure my body would start to destroy itself.

I live in Annandale Virginia. Weirdly enuf though my family all the way back to my great great great grandparents are Dutch. So even though I have never been to the Netherlands or any where in western Europe othere than Italy I can still be considerd Dutch.

I am an immigrant to America (lived here for 7 years now) so I'll add:

6 to 8 generations of my family in dad's side lived in South-East Africa (primarily Madagascar)and we are all of Indian descent, so the term applied to us is "Khoja". I come from a long line of businessman from the Gujarati province of India from grandfather and proper Mumbai from Grandmother. Grandfather came back to India where Dad was born in Pakistan after all the Muslim Indians were forced to go there when the Brits left. So from dad's side I am Indian/Pakistani/Hindustani/Khoja. What's really cool is that my family dates back to pretty much the beginning of India. From Harapa to the Gupta's. But My family is most known in the Mogul empire (we have been Muslim for an extremely long time), I am the descendent of a Mogul emperor and we fought against the Hindu empire of the Rajputs as they were called though I really hate that Hindu's and Muslims in India have to be enemies.

Mom's side is a whole different story. Primarily Mexican, Aztec roots. Don't know a whole lot about mom's side other than that. Her family has been in USA for at least 5 generations living in Mexican communities in Texas so they are still pure Mexicans.
