Live in the Midwest US, I'm a mutt of European descent, with lots of parts German, Irish, Scottish, English, and some Czech, Swedish, and the other parts Native American, Blackfoot and Cherokee tribes.

My dad has ancestors mostly from places like Greenland and Iceland and places like that, while my mom has ancestors from Estonia and Germany and such. So, I'm a fair, northern-european mix.

I live in Denmark btw.

I have Scottish and Finnish blood in me. Which is weird because I dont have red hair like a Scot or blond hair like a Scandinavian, but instead i have jet black hair.
You might be of Sami descent then- They're basically a indigenous people living in Finland, but more similiar to the people of the mongolian steppes than the classic scandinavian look.

As for myself, my fathers family is originally german, although a long way back, my mothers mother was a sami finn and my mothers fathers family are native danes, although there's a story that their bloodline is the result of a danish weapons manufacturers illicit affair with a gypsy woman.
It would certainly explain all the tempers, the chattering and the upper-lip beards on most of the women on my mothers side :)

I'm half English and half Irish, and somewhere back down the Irish line there's Italian.
Pretty sure the English side's totally pure!
Nothing particularly interesting about me though, other than that I'm from a family of committed Communists on one side and anarchists on the other.
Whoo...

I am 1/8 Austrian, 1/16 Croatian, 1/16 French. I'm not too sure about the smaller bits. The rest of my junk is Belgian.

At least half Scottish, with a little bit of Irish in there. As far as I'm aware, the rest of it is English. I suppose if I'm going to talk about ancestry, I can't go too far back on my father's side or on half of my mother's side, considering that the majority of my great-relatives were born in "illegitimacy". Not that I'd want to bore any of you with the details, of course.

On a side note, it's interesting that this topic should arise at a time when I'm learning a lot more about my family history. For instance, my great grandfather survived the Battle of the Somme in the First World War, and my great uncle was captured by the Japanese troops in Burma during the Second World War, and was enslaved for work on the Burma Railway. Bridge on the River Kwai, and all that. I find it to be some pretty fascinating stuff. Both my grandfather and grandmother on my mother's side were radio operators during the Second World War, although my grandfather died years ago and my grandmother apparently dislikes discussing it. What that exactly has to do with ancestry, I'm not sure, but maybe somebody out there would find it of interest.

I'm from the UK, my ancestory is mostly English, but I'm 1/8 German, 3/32 Danish, a little bit of Irish and Scottish and possibly, if family rumours are to be believed, a tiny bit Chinese and Indian!

In other words, English + Loads of Random Others :)
