This is a tough choice. I would have to say Mass Effect 2, but only if you played the first one already. Otherwise, Oblivion. And before I get called a simpleton for preferring it to Morrowind, I used to play Morrowind all the time from the time I was 9-11. Because I was so young when I played it, I don't think I can make an accurate judgement of how it holds up today.

i would have to say its a tie between batman Arkham Asylum and fallout 3

i have already pre-ordered fallout: new vegas and i will no doubt get arkham 2 so i suppose that will be the ultimate decider!

i always think graphics are a big factor and arkham shows loads of detail and i hope they pay attention to that in the next game

i also love rpgs! not like world of warcraft... rpgs that make me feel like i´m in a whole different life! i think that on batman arkham asylum 2 a small section of gotham should be available and be part of the story.

Morrowind on the XBox. A game with so many glitches and exploits that its lifespan for me was over 4000 hours on one character!

You wouldn't believe how much shit I've taken from people claiming this isn't the XBox version. It may seem not as special now, but when I did this, a lot of these glitches weren't known about (most people didn't even know there were two faces of terror and two faces of inspiration, as well as two daedric longbows)!

I've said this earlier and I will say it again.....

Operation Flashpoint Cold War Crisis
It's a shame the multiplayer is slowly dying

I can never decide on a favourite, so I have a handful I would consider to be my answer.

Metal Gear Solid, Monkey Island 2, Broken Sword, Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Final Fantasy 10, Tomb Raider 4, Pokémon Crystal. Metal Gear and Code Veronica are my 'nutty fangirl shut up they're not flawed!!1!!11' faves.

Then the rest of these series would generally populate my 'top 20' list. Portal also gets an honorable mention.

System Shock 2
That's probably because you haven't played System Shock I.

MY Best Game Ever :

This has peaked my interest for a few days and I'd quite like to try it. I've never tried a Sierra adventure before (I'm a LucasFilm/Revolution girl) but should I try this?

Depends on platform really. As you can't really judge cross-platform.

N64 - Zelda Ocarina of Time
Gamecube - Sonic Adventure 2
Wii - Zelda: Twilight Princess (You saw what I said for the 64, you expected something else here?)
PS - Star Ocean: Second Story (While I don't actually own either the system or game, it is so epic it needs a mention)
PS2 - Dark Cloud
Xbox - Halo (That's the Original people)
PC - Cave Story (Although I would almost say WoW)

If I really had to pick one of those... Zelda: OoT, with SO:2 coming a very close second. =3

Can't be arsed going farther back then that.

Banjo-Tooie.

It was fun, it had a great plot and great side plots, the bosses where awesome, it improved on the problems I had with Banjo Kazooie (Seriously, where the hell is Click Clock Wood's Door? And why is it that when I find it's stupid puzzle, it doesn't have the mysterious stand? to put the pieces together?), and I loved it!

A close second is Super Mario 64, fallowed by Banjo-Kazooie and Kirby 64.
