- Democracy is a bad system. Almost all people do not have the knowledge to make an educated vote, or are simply too dumb "I don't vote on Obama because he's black."

- Religion should get the fuck out of governments, public healthcare and public education.

- Every human and animal has the right to live, no matter how evil they are.

- We should stop the aid for Africa all third world countries until they accept basic human rights. Recent example, the law in an African country to put gays to death (which apparently didn't pass though, but you should see the BBC documentary on it).

- Any life is worth infinitely much, therefore one life and a million lifes are equal. I do have problems with this one though.

- Any court case should be dealt with by using common sense. Common sense > laws.

- A jury system is R E T A R D E D.

- Rules are there to be broken.

- An eye for an eye is retarded.

- Freedom of speach does not mean you can shout obscenities at funerals.

- The Westboro Baptist Church are real life master trolls.

- Always show compassion, even to your worst enemies.

- Religion should not impede the advancement of mankind.

- Abortion is fine. A clump of cells is not a human being.

- Euthanasia is fine. I'd like to have control over my own life, thank you.

- We should stop spending money on the military. Instead, put it into scientific research, public provisions and general well being of people around the world.

- Real research should be started about the possibility of terraforming Mars. This might be just a little fantasy of mine

- Put Fox News CEO's and newsreaders in jail for crimes against mankind.

- Nuclear power is safe. Take the power plant in Japan, it survived an earthquake of 9 on the Richter scale and a fucking tsunami and still did not completely explode. Now imagine if that power plant would have conformed to todays standards.

Without everybody organized into over generalized groups, people woudl actually vote for who they think either will do the best job, or at least have to look at all the canndites, and not able to hit the "VOTE ALL X PARTY" option.

I believe that people should be able to do whatever the hell they want, as long as they don't fuck around with other people's choices in doing whatever the hell they want, or endangering their lives in any way or form. That seems about right.

Then again, this is subject to change in certain situations. Such as, say, war, where your opinions don't mean a fucking damn thing. Which is true, since your opinions are a potential subversive element in the war effort and need to be purged.

I believe that every single thing in this world should be free (food, clothes, cars, medical care, houses, etc...), we should do away with money, and have all people on the planet work for no pay (well, all the free stuff would kind of be pay).

I think we need to ditch the concept of cruel and unusual punishment and that criminals should be stripped of ALL rights and be made to suffer for their crimes and suffer severely. I believe the world came about how it came about and humanity will never know the truth. Religion is wrong and so are we. We can guess, but we will never know for sure.

Just like with what happens when you die. Is there an afterlife? Do we become ghosts or go to heaven/hell? I have several. Then again, I'm a Liberal, Pagan, Bisexual female living in the bible belt.

1) The US is NOT a christian nation. It's right there (several times) in the Constitution. People refusing to believe this does not make it false. No religion, or it's beliefs, should be taught in schools. No religion or it's beliefs should be allowed to dictate law. No religion should have carte blanche to to shit talk and demonize any other religion (or atheists.)

2) Illegal aliens should be rounded up and shipped back to where they came from, and border security needs to beefed to the max. I lived in Sanctuary City (AKA Houston, Texas) most of my life...I've seen what these people do. The "they just come here for a better life" story people use to pull heart strings is a total crock. Also, while we're at it, get rid of citizenship upon birth. At least one parent MUST be a citizen.

3) Free speech needs relooked. I understand the importance of the law, don't get me wrong. But when you have Faux Noise brainwashing a good chunk of the country like it does and hiding from any and all punishment behind the First Amendment, or Westboro Baptist being completely immune from punishment for the harm they cause people...No. There needs to be a way for other citizens to hold these people, and any others who would abuse the power, accountable.

4) Stop thinking your beliefs trump my rights. I should be able to marry any consenting adult I want. And the only other people who should have any weight in a decision over my body are the guy involved and my doctor.

5) Tax churches. They long ago stopped adhering to the "No political preaching" rule. And on that note, NO TAX DOLLARS for "faith based initiatives." If you can piss and moan about your tax dollars going to my healthcare, I should be able to deny you mine for your religious shit.

A scientific theory is an explanation of some aspect of nature that is supported by a vast body of evidence. Religion has no evidence. Therefore, the theory of evolution is vastly less far fetched than a man in the sky creating the world in seven days.
