My State is known for being able to suck and blow simultaneously. Anyone else here from New Jersey?

On a serious note

Tomatoes, the battle of Trenton(American Revolution), one of the thirteen original colonies, and according to some people I've met... nuclear plants.
I'm from NJ originally.

Now I live in the home state of the escapist, North Carolina baby! First in flight, 48th in education.

Couldn't agree more. In fact I now say that I was a Texan born in California it just took me a while to get home!

We're also known for having the second largest population of the states and the second largest in terms of size (damn you Alaska!) and also we have more cities with more than one million residents (I even live in one).

Also:
Gunfights
Audy Murphy
Dr Pepper
Gene Roddenberry
Buddy Holly
Lyndon Baines Johnson
Cattle
Small Towns
Walker Texas Ranger
Dallas Cowboys
Cockroaches that make Radroaches seem like Youngin's
ZZ Top
Big Red
Bonnie and Clyde

and a hell of alot more!

The United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland of more so England because we top the table for inventing important and overall good stuff.

We invented the world wide web for one thing, we invented football and have the worlds best league, urm coalfriend, steam engine, good beer, branston pickle, oh bugger. I can't be arsed, bottom line is read here for our invententions, if your historically remiedial you may be shocked by some of the things we dumb Brits have invented:

Pussyness.
Neutrality. (Same as above)
Inability to take a joke.
Muslim rapists. (Not that common, but nazis all over the world love telling me about how my sister gets raped every day on her way from school... Oh, nazis, you so silly...)
Volvo.
Coo coo clocks. (Many people think we are actually switzerland...)
Porn.
Socialism.
The pirate bay.
Booring police movies.
Smorgasbords.
Ah sweden, land of the bland, home of the meatball...
How I love thee...
Umm, The cuckoo clocks originate from Germany. Noteably, Black Forest.
Well, a lot of people think they are from switzerland, and they thint sweden and switzerland are the same thing...
Nothing I can do about it...
Switzerland is known for insuring up to a million dollars in banks, compared to the only 100,000 here.. And for a pharmaceutical company.

Sweden is known for.. Well, if I knew more I would say?

But to all who think the cuckoo clock comes from anywhere else, you're wrong. Black Forest Germany was where the idea was put into work first.

Being fat.
I was going to go with murderous close minded obese zealots.

At least that's even what I see from the information put out publicly from inside the US, it must be 10 fold more stereotypical for another country looking at it all.

US: tons of stuff.

North Carolina: We're known for having mountains, being less Southern than South Carolina, and being more Southern than Virginia. We have our own distinct (delicious) style of BBQ pork, a lot of good college basketball teams, and a bizarrely good hockey team, considering how not-from-the-north we are. Between the Buried and Me is from Raleigh, which is about a 20-minute drive from where I live. Unfortunately, that's also where Clay Aiken is from. These things happen.

My country is famous for clubbing baby seals (even if it is only half true, they're essentially 1st graders), maple syrup, bacon, hockey, saying eh, being nice and being cold.

Also, that accent every American cartoon uses for Canadians, that's either Newfoundland, Ontario or some other maritime province. In B.C. we speak like Americans from the northern states. An American (who doesn't have a southern accent) and a Western Canadian talking to each other would sound like two Americans.

Rant over.

B.C. is famous for pot. That's about it.
Great...

Australia's famous for lots of things mate! I'm from Brisbane, Queensland - and Australia gave the world that clothes line thingy, the damper bread, "g'day mate" and "that's not a knife, THIS is a knife". All jokes aside, Australian scientists are really good. My state, Queensland, gave the world the first "anti-cervical cancer" vaccine and the world's first working scram-jet, both courtesy of my Universtiy, the University of Queensland, St. Lucia Campus.
What's the campus like? I'm planning on taking a course there when I finish high school.
