Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is the best anime ever made. This is truth.

Just the air of self-irony to the completely over-the-top mecha fights. Superb animations and lovable characters.

Kamina is possibly the best character ever concieved.


Oh, and Bounen no Xamdou is pretty damn awesome, too.

Azumanga Daioh is one of those shows that I just keep coming back to every few months. It's humor is tailor made for me.

Oh hell yes! I NEVER get tired of that show!

OT: I actually like FMA Brotherhood better than the original series, if only for that scene with Winry and Scar.

My other favorites: Lucky Star, School Rumble, His and Her Circumstances, Ouran High School Host Club, Bleach, I can go on.

It makes me smile every time, and really, that's all I'm looking for in an anime/tvshow/video game. Every time I go back and watch it I enjoy it.

Darker Than Black, I watched the whole series at least 3 times and I still love it.

I also really enjoyed Soul Eater, I laughed at most of the jokes, which I rarely do when watching anime.

And Revolutionary Girl Utena will always have a special place in my heart for being my first non-Pokemon or Sailor Moon anime.

Ergo Proxy. I don't know what it is about Ergo Proxy that clicks, but after every episode my mind just goes reeling. Not a second is wasted, each episode is packed full of stuff that almost never falters. The setting, the characters, the storyline, it all fits together perfectly and I have no idea what they're doing right. I just love it ^^

By the way, I did end up watching that. Now I'm really confused and have no idea whether or not I liked it. The first 11 episodes seemed like a boring trudge of Lain having no personality whatsoever, some irrelevant monologues about Roswell or something, and that scene where Lain can be seen through the clouds, all of which I just hated. Then the last two episodes came along and gave me a sense of mindfuck, and for once added something to the storyline. The ending was brilliant, but that's pretty much the only thing that was. I don't really get what you liked about it so much, maybe it's just conflicting opinions but whatever xD

Elfen Lied has the greatest story I have ever encountered. Just amazing. The shocking scenes were shocking. The heartwarming scenes were heartwarming. The narm was minimal and the humour was unexpected and welcomed every time. In fact, the worst part of the show was the nudity, and when I say that about anything, you damn well better know I loved everything else.

Elfen Lied is by far my favourite anime. Haruhi Suzumiya and Perfect Blue are second and third, respectively.
