When I'm in a perverse mood: Girls Bravo
Reason: It knows that it's a ecchi show and runs with it to a glorious degree
you know I'm not even a fan of ecchi but I found it was pretty entertaining (even though fanservice did get annoying but it's an ecchi go figure)

Jackie Chan Adventures. It can be lovely ludicrous (I love alliteration).
Did they ever finish that show?

I was like at the arc where the zodiac powers were in those animals and they had to round them all up.

I agree, Golem 239. That's the whole point to it. I mean, I can enjoy the ecchi in a show like Girls Bravo because it knows what it can only be and works with that to make something fun. I really hate Ecchi when it's shoehorned into the plot so clumsily that totally makes the series stupid.

Example: Harribel and bleach entirely became a laughingstock to me after we saw her true form.

I hate giving the top one. So I'll give the top three. Code Geass, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, and Kara no Kyoukai.

Fate stay night and Beck. Fate stay night because it's the only anime that's more complete then the manga, beck because it's a manga about music and yeah having music in the story does help.
I don't understand why anyone would fine Full-Metal-Alcemist a great anime. It had two incarnations, one where they worked out the plot themselves (it sucked) and one where the copied the manga as closely as possible. Now I would say that the second one was much better, but it was just a knockoff from the manga. Why would you bother watching it?

There were two more seasons. The next one was awesome but the final season was pretty meh. I think everyone sensed it was time to call it quits. Also, I WANT MY DVD RELEASE.

Dear Escapist,

Can we maybe sticky a 'favourite anime' thread, instead of seeing a new one pop up every other day?
I n+1 this notion.

OT: Tie between Neon Genesis Evangelion and Cowboy Bebop.

My favorite is Katanagatari. A fantastic sword hunting epic that manages to blend humor, well choreographed fights, an incredibly interesting story and a completely unique artistic style all together.

Usually depends on my mood, but I guess Azumanga Daioh is probably my favorite, with Ghost in the Shell SAC in close second, and Ouran High School Host Club/Fruits Basket tied for third (girly anime is one of my guilty pleasures).

I think the other season was the one with shendou's son correct?

And I really need a site to see all the seasons.

Woah now THAT style is a breath of fresh air in anime.

That was the final season. The next is the season with the Oni, where Uncle uses a Japanese chant.

The simplest solution.
