A New zealand film made by the little known was it producer or director I can't recall but one of those who did lord of the rings, It's called Bad Taste. Fake gore fest people drinking regurgitated human, someone who's head keeps popping open and a bit of his brain keeps falling out, disgusting aliens bad movie you just cant turn away from this is it Oh yeah and really really bad acting the only thing it didn't have in common with other bad flicks was the obligatory nudity but this was probably just because there were no females in the whole movie.

I forget the name, but I really want to see it again. It has Jay and Silent Bob in it. They write a script or something for a movie to do with Bluntman and Chronic, and it gets stolen.

I know I am going to get crucified for this..

The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Yes, I know it's a really fun film to watch. I love it. But it is a bad film folks let us face the truth.

This isn't so bad it's good. It is so bad at being bad it is good, but it is still very bad, in a good way.

"Surf nazis must die" or "attack of the killer tomatoes"... has to be either one
Didn't they make an animated spin-off of that?
Yep. And at least 3 sequel movies. Revenge of the Killer Tomatoes was awesome (I think that's the title of the sequel with George Clooney in it?)

Pretty much anything that's ever been on MST3K. I'm partial to Manos: The Hands of Fate and The Screaming Skull.

The version on MST3K is hysterical.
Oh come on, MST3K made EVERY bad movie a laughathon, GOD I MISS THAT SHOW!!!!!
Did you ever see "Red Zone Cuba"? THat along with the "Hamlet" they did are the only two episodes that i could NEVER make it through.. Those are truly awful awful films which even MST3K could not save.

There are some legit good movies on here. I mean "Life Aquatic"? Really? And the Bill and Ted movies are underappreciated comedic classics.

At any rate, my vote goes for the Freddie Prinze Jr. "Wing Commander" movie. It's awful, yet i own it on vhs AND now DVD, and i can put it on in the background and never get bored.

"Return of the Killer Tomatoes" is another one that is pretty good. My buddies and i rented it when we were in grade school, and it actually has a bunch of gags that Mike Meyers later stole for the "Wayne' World" movies... AND it has a young George Clooney!

Total Recall...come to think of it...any Schwarzenegger movie.

Sure they have great ideas, and were really highly produced...but lets face it they were bad movies...but so very awesome.

I've seen Manos without the safety net of MST3K. It makes the maddening babble of certain talk radio power-mongers sound sensible. I still don't agree with them, but that's besides the point.

OT: Rocky Horror.

So true. It may be bad, but it's still fun.

Also, both Waterworld and The Postman. It just goes to show: for any conceivable vision of a post-apocalyptic future, Kevin Costner will be there.

Not trying to flame anyone here, but I don't really think that movies like "Meet the Spartans," "Epic Movie," or any of those Wayans-brand spoofs should count. They're made to be bad because they're poking fun at the other films that are popular at the time. That's kinda like a high school dropout placing gold at the Special Olympics.

I'm gonna hafta throw in some oldies here;
Iron Master --> Primitive folks discover a sword-shaped fragment of meteorite, invent war, and pretty much screw civilization forever. Apparently nobody ever killed anybody else before that discovery. Super terrible movie, available on Netflix.
Starcrash --> Space Opera where David Hasselhoff fights stop motion robots with a laser sword. Also, the Galactic Emperor has some pretty spiffy mods on his Imperial Battle Cruiser that you'll hafta see yourself.
Cool as Ice --> The Vanilla Ice movie. No explanation really needed here. It's the apex of 80's fashion and culture, and it will hurt you.

If you wanna find a good source for really terrible films, I would have to recommend Badmovies.org

There's stuff there that could kill you in large doses. You have been warned.
