It was their great send-off on the apple studio rooftop, and it gets stuck in my head for days each time I listen to it. Their whole polished, "White Album" phase really did produce some of their best songs.

The Beatles, you can say what you like but in my opinion they are the greatest band of all time.

oh dear...ok then, I can understand that you don't like the beatles, but saying it on a thread about your favorite beatles song...just seems a bit strange, like your daring someone too call you a idoit.

I'm personally more of a Doors fan if I have to go by that era, but I'd prefer some of the bands that can a little later, like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and Rainbow.
I will certainly say that The Beatles had a very large influence on music as a whole, but if I had to pick a favorite song, I guess Come Together.
