The one that sticks out in my head is 'Jingle Bells' by Andy Williams (1963). It's the best version I've heard, it just has a certain spark. It was always my favourite from the Andy Williams Christmas Album, which was played without fail, every year throughout my childhood.
Another one I love, is 'What's This', by Danny Elfman. Just excellent.
I'm not massively into Christmas, but there are a few songs that I love!

Anything by Trans-Siberia Orchestra.
Old Latin Christmas songs. I don't know any of the names, but they are epic on one old CD my mom has.
Anything Christmas-y by Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, other older singers.

This has more to do with the fact that it marked the end of my trumpet solo during my first Christmas concert. The realization that I had gotten the solo down perfectly kicked in right as the trumpets started playing the opening of the song, and that's a hard memory to forget.

It's actually taking the piss out of people who hate Xmas... Is it parody or satire, can never remember which is which. It's a nice funny song that is short.
My problem is with the repetition of Xmas music, 24 years of the same songs played from mid November to early Jan. Could we at least alternate between 2 set lists?

Don Henley of Eagles does a great x-mas song i will get back i have to think about it i forgot the name It is "please come home for christmas" Great song Favorite tradition is decorating the tree and drinking hot totties and christmas dinner always formal. My mom always made us dress to impress for christmas dinner and it has stuck all these years later. AHHHH I love it.

Not only is it festive, but it completely sums up my feelings towards people who dislike Christmas. If it doesn't put you in the spirit, nothing will.

It's dull, it's gritty, it's not that happy and I love it. It also reminds me of one of the more heartwarming moments of my life. My weekly tradition is a trad music session at my local Irish and this is a regular song. It's the perfect tune for a waltz, which this elderly couple once did flawlessly. Seeing them have so much fun definitely lifted my mood that day.
