My favourite Christmas song is this one and I don't know why, maybe beacause it's catchy!

The one that sticks out in my head is 'Jingle Bells' by Andy Williams (1963). It's the best version I've heard, it just has a certain spark. It was always my favourite from the Andy Williams Christmas Album, which was played without fail, every year throughout my childhood.

Another one I love, is 'What's This', by Danny Elfman. Just excellent.

I'm not massively into Christmas, but there are a few songs that I love!

Most of the traditional classics, just any of the well known songs will do I suppose.

Just any of the well known songs will do.

Carol of the Bells with or without lyrics is awesome.
O Holy Night
Anything by Trans-Siberia Orchestra.
Old Latin Christmas songs. I don't know any of the names, but they are epic on one old CD my mom has.
Anything Christmas-y by Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, other older singers.

Joy to the World

This has more to do with the fact that it marked the end of my trumpet solo during my first Christmas concert. The realization that I had gotten the solo down perfectly kicked in right as the trumpets started playing the opening of the song, and that's a hard memory to forget.

You're all wrong, the correct answer is xm@$ by Corey Taylor. Wish I could post the video.

It's actually taking the piss out of people who hate Xmas... Is it parody or satire, can never remember which is which. It's a nice funny song that is short.

My problem is with the repetition of Xmas music, 24 years of the same songs played from mid November to early Jan. Could we at least alternate between 2 set lists?

I'll do it for you since I was going to post the same thing.

I actually enjoy Christmas, but I like that kind of music more. My favorite classic would my Sleigh Ride, but I also consider that Stockholm syndrome for my dad playing that song on repeat every Christmas. He has 40 different versions of that one song in a playlist.

I make it a point to listen to this every single year for the Christmas season. It's just too perfect.

Whichever ones are not being played over every bloody loudspeaker around for months prior to the actual event...

Ok, fine, I'm kind of partial to this one

There are some songs that I can enjoy during the period of time between late November and late December but the only one that I can enjoy year round...Hell, the only real answer to this question is this:

Might want to go back and edit your post. I think you meant to type, "I know that people say they don't [insert verb here] Christmas but everyone has one like so whats your favorte Christmas song?"

As for my favorite Christmas song, it would have to be "White Christmas" by The Drifters....

I work in retail, and therefore must second your motion.

I'm afraid you're both wrong when it comes to satirical Christmas songs. Honestly, how has this one not been mentioned yet?

<youtube=aosSYY-50rs>

Not only is it festive, but it completely sums up my feelings towards people who dislike Christmas. If it doesn't put you in the spirit, nothing will.

AND THE BOYS OF THE NYPD CHOIR WERE SINGING GALWAY BAY...
AND THE BELLS WERE RINGING OUT FOR CHRISTMAS DAY.

A fairytale of New York by The Pogues

It's dull, it's gritty, it's not that happy and I love it. It also reminds me of one of the more heartwarming moments of my life. My weekly tradition is a trad music session at my local Irish and this is a regular song. It's the perfect tune for a waltz, which this elderly couple once did flawlessly. Seeing them have so much fun definitely lifted my mood that day.
