Rage Against The Machine's self-titled, simply because it's got the one critical thing their other two albums lacked: REAL RAGE.
I knew I was forgetting an obvious one. This, it's a fantastic album.

Hard to say, I could go for a number of albums. First two that jump to my head, are ten from pearl jam and heroin dassies from Sixx am.

hmm that's a hard question but here are a few that I enjoy

Ra Ra Riot - The Orchard
Third Eye Blind - Third Eye Blind
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros - Up From Below
Closure in Moscow - First Temple
Bullet for my Valentine - The Poison

Just some debut albums worth mentioning.

I'm probably weird for a Machine Head fan in that I think Burn My Eyes is one of their worst albums (still better than Supercharger though.)

Anyways, probably this:

For me it would be a toss-up between 'Runnin Wild' by Airbourne, 'This is the Warning' by Dead Letter Circus and 'Themata' by Karnivool.

I'm one of the weird breed that likes Iron Maiden's first album most. I like most maiden albums, but that one is almost perfect.

Other than that, Black Spiders (having only released one album, which is awesome), neither Black Stone Cherry or Airbourne's second albums are as good as their first, and Catch 22, because pretty much everything the did without Tomas sucked.

Maybe a little biased, but I never knew a Dutch band could blow me away that hard.
This album is amazing in every sense of the word.
Their second album maight even be even BETTER.

I want to dance so hard to that song right now.

The most recent one I can think of is 'Hither Thither', by O Emperor. Seeing as it's their only album, there's no point of comparison. But it is truly excellent.

Fionn Regan's 'The End of History' also comes to mind, especially as his second album was something of a disaster.

Foo Fighters, by... uhm the Foo Fighters. Perfect amounts of sweet melodies and hard rock.
That album was actually just made by Dave playing all the parts. In one one week. I'm pretty sure he gave the others all shares in the rights to his music, too. Brilliant album!

Yep the Foo Fighters debut album was pretty awesome even if I liked the The Colour And The Shape the best...
Yes, you're both right. It was a brilliant album, although The Colour and the Shape was even better. And it was produced by none other than Barrett Jones!

Considering who's in Them Crooked Vultures, this should come as no surprise.
Yep, this one too.

Closure in Moscow - First Temple

That's the debut album that made me really good impression!

P.S.
Sorry for the old topic, I just wanted to start from somewhere. :) Cheers!
