Kill 'Em All. And if you don't know who the artist is, shame on you.
I concur. For me, it's between this and The Poison by Bullet for My Valentine

Probably Blowsight's Dystopia Lane. I was blown outta my mind when I heard this album - one of the very few albums that in which I like all of the songs. There are more, but I just can't seem to think of any...

Bloc Party's Silent Alarm and Gorillaz "Gorillaz" although Demon Days was awesome, it isn't quite as good as Gorillaz

Hmm, there's some real great ones, but I'd have to go with Blizzard of Oz by Ozzy Osbourne. It's just awesome every time I go back and listen to it. Still probably his best album still.

Notable mentions off the top of my head to Devo (favourite band), The Doors, Guns and Roses (since it contains the only stuff of theirs I honestly really like) and Metallica.

The Killers - Hot Fuss. It's my hands down favorite debut and just general album of all time. And then Brandon Flowers went and made the best debut solo album ever as well.

I guess i'll mix it up and just mention my favourite Rap debut album. Easily this crown goes to the Wu-Tang Clan's first album

Foo Fighters, by... uhm the Foo Fighters. Perfect amounts of sweet melodies and hard rock.
Yep the Foo Fighters debut album was pretty awesome even if I liked the The Colour And The Shape the best...

Also the Gorillaz Self titled album...

And Dinosaur Jr.'s self titled debut album, their second weakest album but they kick so much ass that it stillm means it's better than a lot of bands best album...

Adele's 19.

Not as strong as her 21 album for me, but the most professional and interesting debut album I've ever heard.
On her first album, she sings like a 20 year veteran. It's astounding how well put together it is and just how fantastic she is (especially for her age).

Homework by Daft Punk. All of my other favourite artists have debut albums that I don't really like as of yet.

Breaking Benjamin's debut album "Saturate" is still one of my favorite albums ever.

Most people haven't heard anything from it because it wasn't until their second album "We Are Not Alone" that they started to get radio play with the hit single "So Cold."

They've managed to maintain a signature sound over four albums, but "Saturate" definitely had a more alternative metal edge that is lacking from newer releases and has been replaced by a more radio-friendly alternative rock sound.

"Saturate" had a certain signature alt metal sound and style. It seems that as they became more mainstream, they've mellowed out and lost a lot of the edge. The signature sound and style is still present, but with each release release after "Saturate", said sound and style seems to be wrapped in generic radio rock; the thickness of the wrapping fluctuates between their three later albums and varies from song to song.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not one of those "they got more popular = they sold out" hipster douchebags. I'm just saying that, as someone who has been following them since their debut, they're not as unique and edgy as they used to be.
