I can't just choose one...
1) Legend of Zelda (Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask)
2) Goldeneye
3) San Fransisco Rush
4) Super Smash Bros
5) Super Mario 64
6) Mario Kart 64
7) Star Fox 64
8) Bomberman (64 and Heroes)

These are in no particular order

But, if someone put a gun to my head and said choose one I'd have to say Bomberman 64 had so much fun with my friends and family on the multi-player.

If I really had to choose one, it would have to be Majora's Mask. Absolubtly loved that game, every single minute of it. I'm not even goig to start giving examples, because I'd be here All Night (Mask - hee hee).

In no particular order for runners up though: Ocarina of Time, Rouge Squadron and Battle for Naboo (I liked it!), Goldeneye, Star Fox: Lylat Wars (I think that's the right one? It's been a very long time...) and Star Wars: Podracer.

(I was going to be all funny unbearable and say Superman 64, but some jokes simply shouldn't be made. I'm pretty sure I could be banned from this site and legally executed in seven countries even for saying this much...)

Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

That is all.
> Ocarina

Search your hearts fanboys, you know it to be true.
I did and I still have to go with Ocarina of Time. The design in that game is genius, along with the music and sounds combined makes for amazing atmosphere. I find Majoras Mask just as interesting but it's the design in OoT is what gets me.

After playing Super Metroid and Ocarina of Time I really wanted to become a game designer, not sure if I still want to know though since I found out how difficult it is.

I was going to say Super Mario 64, but I only played it all the way through via Virtual Console. Then I remembered Paper Mario. Definitely Paper Mario. It's still good, even today.

Super Mario 64. Easy choice. Zelda was fun but the fact that he's a little pussy and Navi won't shut up kind of ruin the game for me. And he never gets laid (probably due to the games first two problems). So Mario for the win. At least he knows his way around plumbing.

Real men play MARIO AND SHIT!

I'm gonna have to go with Starfox. I played the living hell out of it back in the day, and I still play it from time to time.

There were so many good ones its hard to choose... that said, Goldeneye 007. Special mentions for, Perfect Dark, Jet Force Gemini, Battle Tanx Global Assault, Pokemon Stadium 1 & 2, and The World is Not Enough. That's all I can think of right now.

Ogre Battles 64
fun as all hell
Yeah as awesome as most of the games people have mentioned so far are, and as much as I love them, only one of them has spent a decade (and counting!) in my top three all-time favorite games for any platform.

Seriously, Ogre Battle: Person of Lorldly Caliber is on Wii Virtual Console now, if I'm not mistaken, and for me, at least, it set the standards by which I still judge RPGs and RTSs. If you've never played it, do yourself a huge favor and check it out!
