I was going for ones that could actually elicit a positive response, since most pickup lines in lists like this just end up being horrifying. Ive talked to a few girls who agree that in the right context, that line would be flattering.Sampler said:

Yeah but chat-up lines are supposed to be bad, they're a way of breaking the ice and opening a conversation with someone who you've already made eye-contact with and exchanged a smile - by this point you know the other parties interested but you need something to say to start the ball rolling - eschewing a little wit is in the right direction as you know what they say about a girl and a man who can make them laugh.Xanadu84 said:

Oh I get that. I just think that most of these will get the cops called on you, or a slap in the face, even when they know you're joking. I think the "nice body" line is just witty and just subtle enough to work.
