If I was to go by what game I played the most, it would be Battlefield 2.

If I was to go by what game I enjoyed the most, it would be a tie between Half Life 2, Portal, Diablo and Fallout 2.

Elder Scrolls: Morrowind has to be my game of all time. Always seem to come back to it over and over again.
For true, my friend, for true.

This remains the only game I have never once uninstalled from my computer since originally installing it for the first time. I don't know how it can be possible to keep going back to the same bloody game, but somehow I never get tired of Morrowind.

My Top 5:

5. Twisted Metal 2 (It sacrifices nothing for fun, and combines terrific gameplay, a clever sense of humor, and an excellent soundtrack)

4. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (Not the best RPG, that honor goes to Chrono Trigger, but certainly my favourite)

3. Condemned: Criminal Origins (Absolutely terrifying and extremely compelling, excellent story, good atmosphere, and stellar combat that made you feel like a scared normal guy being hunted by psychotics)

2. Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (It's a close split between this and OoT, but I just found Majora's Mask to be more enjoyable)

1. Psychonauts (It has it's flaws, but they're completely forgotten under the solid gameplay, beautiful levels, and some of the most laugh out loud comedy you'll find in a game)

Counter Strike.

I've been playing since 2001, made the jump to CS:S a year and a half ago and I still play weekly. It has everything I need in a shooter: a widely varied community, good fundamentals for a shooter (though the original had better fundamentals), a wide range of great mods, easy access to servers through Steam, and it's just friggin fun.

Team Fortress Classic is up there. Quake 3: Rocket Arena left me with many fond memories. Unreal Tournament (especially low grav instagib) kept me occupied until I couldn't find any more populated servers. Other contenders are Everquest, Guild Wars, and Planetside.

In the offline play category I'd say Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War since I've played and enjoyed it since it first came out.

Contenders are: Company of Heroes, C&C: Generals, FF7, Half-Life 2, Half-Life, Warcraft 3, and...I don't know, Giant Citizen Kabuto.

Diablo 2 without doubt!

Ok... I loved Soul Reaver 2 storyline... but this goes second. D2 was the best thing I played till now.
Soul Reaver 2 0_o That game fills my heart with rage. I played it and immediatly fell in love and then the game just broke down half way through and I've never been able to finish it! I've purchased like four versions of the game, rented it from blockbuster, even played a pirated copy my cousin brought over from Moscow while he was visiting! I actually downloaded the game from Ubisoft's website and at one point the game just terminates. No disc or anything, a strait port fom the company and the game shuts down when I'm about to leave the chaotic future world. I actually sent the company an e-mail... It has been like two years now and they haven't responded.

I have several that I love:

Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal
Resident Evil 4
Tomb Raider
GTA III

I cannot believe none of these 4 has been mentioned.

Final Fantasy 3 (or VI if you wanna be anal about it.,.it was Called 3 on the cartridge I bought) I still think this was the best Final Fantasy game. YMMV

Vagrant Story - A bit of a sleeper, but I LOVE this game to death. Great story, awesome art design and music.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - Simply the greatest 2D game I've ever played.

It's hard to say considering the many different types of games and their relative rating, but if I had to choose I'd probably say Start Ocean - Till the End of Time [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pB3-jGNcDvg]. I'm not usually too much of a JRPG fan, but this one sucked me in with both gameplay and storyline and wouldn't let go

A toss up between Timesplitters Future Perfect, Dino Crisis 2, CoD 4, Dead Rising and Mortal Kombat Trilogy. This is only due to the sheer amount of time I have spent on them all.
