Streets Of Rage 2. When it first came out it was a revelation. The graphics were awesome, the sound and music engaging, the controls were precise, the levels of a decent length and most of all it was fun.
It is still the game I come back to, even after all these years.

A friend of mine actually sat down and tried to arrange our favourite games in order. It's kinda hard to do, but in the end, you have to think about what game you spent the most time with, and what was the most rewarding. My top ten came as follows:

Grand Theft Auto III
Sega Rally Championship
Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Halo: Combat Evolved
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Half Life 2
F Zero X
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within
Soul Calibur
F.E.A.R

Mine is perfect dark on the N64. me and my mates still play it to this day. that multi player was just amazingly fun; coming up with new and more crazy multi player modes :D

our favourite mode was to put some perfect / dark sims on one team, you and you mate(s) on the other. Choose the car park level, turn off the radar :D
great fun...waiting to hear a door opening and having to guess which way they were coming :D makes it fairly tense :p even better if with the right weapon choices
(p.s. never do it with tranquillizers on... that's called a slaughter house :p heh)

Skies of arcadia.

The only turn-based combat game I've ever liked (and I've tried many). A couple years back I even went out to get a new dreamcast just so i could replay it.

Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill have gobbled up a lot of time - also, Resident Evil, despite the corniness of the dialogue, the inane fetch quests and half the characters making me want to kill them.

DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE!

Urgh, fine. Day of the Tentacle. Or DooM 2. Or Timesplitters. Or Quake 3. Or War§ow. Or Speedy Eggbert.

Actually, I may have already posted in this thread.
