Oh yeah. Definitely.TomLikesGuitar said:Scott Pilgrim
I'm not a hipster; I don't "represent the zeitgeist". It was a fucking funny movie with awesome fight scenes. Anyone who can't appreciate that is a jaded asshat.
The only thing I can think to add to this is that the ending was perfect. It embodied the entire theme of the movie and took it up 3 notches.Squidden said:As soon as I saw the title, my mind rang out with "Inception"
The fact that Christopher Nolan could think of a storyline that complex is amazing, not to mention the fact that pretty much every actor in that movie was perfect. Also, the soundtrack.
Motha-flippin'? That could be Flight of the Conchords, or the IT Crowd? The Seldom Seen Kid said:Motha-flippin' Inception. (Virtual cookie for reference).
I've heard that Kick Ass is good from many people but haven't seen it yet, something tells me I should...Quazimofo said:i didnt really like inglorious basterds. i think it is because they pitched it as a comedy but it was more of a drama so i was dissappointed when i went to see itC95J said:It didn't come out this year, but I only watched it a couple of months ago.
Inglourious Basterds - best film I ever watched.
as for my favorite movies i cant really pick just one.
kick ass, toy story 3, the expendables, and scott pilgrim even though i havent seen it. oh and also the social network and harry potter 7 even though i havent seen those (people who have similar movie tastes as mine have told me those 3 were damn good movies so ill take their word for it.)
and yes i have a 6 way tie who gives a crap? they were all good movies!!
This. I know the film isn't that complex and not what you might call an "intelligent film" or a piece of "high-brow cinema", but damn if didn't look awesome and was the most enjoyable film I've seen all year.TomLikesGuitar said:Scott Pilgrim
