This may be a bit niche but I'm wondering what kind of things other people read. I would say all of Yahtzee's but they finished before I had the internet, and Onstad has left Achewood on an indefinite hiatus, so, out of all the webcomics I read that are still updating I have to say Sluggy Freelance.

I follow a couple (vgcats/super effective, balls2that, roosterteeth etc) though they aren't really my thing...they don't come out often and when they do it's rarely something lol worthy.

Cyanide and Happiness. It's crude, horrifying and loves to subvert the readers expectations. Just the way I like it.

Ever since Hiimdaisy went on "indefinite hiatus" I haven't really been following anything. Penny Arcade, I guess.

[sub]Cucumber Quest, too. But that one hasn't quite started yet.[/sub]

Cyanide & Happiness was my first webcomic, I check it every day and it still makes me laugh, no matter how offensive it is.

I've read the entire archives of Axe Cop, that five year old kid is funnier than most professional comedy writers, and the best part is that he's not trying to be funny.

While 8-bit theater is one of the most awesome things ever I think I have to say:

http://wormworldsaga.com/

The drawings are fantastic, the story is decent (so far) and the simple design to read it was enough to give me a small mindsplosion of happiness.

Probably 8-bit theater.
I am currently following:
Ctrl-alt-del

penny arcade

Airforce Blues

Penny Dreadful

XKCD

Cyndie and Happiness

Looking for group (sort-of)

Geist Panic (though it has not been updated in at least a year)

Probably some other I am forgetting about.

A tie between xkcd and Subnormality. XKCD was my first, and i love it although it is not quite up to it's former standard. I recently picked up, and read through the archive of, Subnormality, so we'll see how that goes. Don't be shy, i think this is a great thread!

Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal. It's funny, crude, and sometimes really smart. Also it's out every day.

I enjoy SMBC for its ability to create intelligent non-sequiturs, often in 1 panel comics. The art style is fairly crude, but the writing is always top notch. The author also does decent sketch comedy sometime.

I used to like XKCD, but got sick of the faux intelligence that dogged most updates. You know what the Michelson-Morley experiment was. Well done. There's no reason to make a comic about it. Although, at times XKCD has been really good i.e. "there's somebody who is WRONG on the internet", but most of the time it seemed that it was just referencing some obscure experiment or equation with little comic effect.

My Fantasy fix is Knifestone. http://knifestone.net/

Out every Tuesday and Thursday. We developed story, nicely drawn, and quite witty. Axe Cop, North World are also favorites. Bad Machinery also gets a nod.
