Fedora.

I'm always overly happy to get to use this in an actual conversation. It's even better when the subject isn't Indiana Jones.

[HEADING=1]Bollocks![/HEADING]Or Bumbershoot, meaning "umbrella".
I agree with the first one, the second one was new to me.

Blipblop, with your avatar picture I thought for sure you were going to say "Boon," people really don't use that word often enough.

I had a word but in the process of reading the thread I forgot it, undoubtedly I will remember it as soon as I hit the post button. Although a runner-up is probably "Slanguage," which I made up for my machinima video and was in one of the two lines I actually had the heart to cut out of the final video.

oh, now this is tricky. my favourite word is incredibly inconsistent. it changes almost daily.

consistent favourites are "anarchist" "kinetic" "strategic" "eradicate" and a few others that i can't remember right now.

right now my favourite is "kinetic".

Or perhaps a combination, IE Fuck the smurfs.

Gloaming. Never before has a noun sounded so much like a verb.

As for made-up words, I'd go with TeamFourStar's cadaveriffic.

Quaint. best word ever to use out of context because it very rarely is actually out of context...
# strange in an interesting or pleasing way; "quaint dialect words"; "quaint streets of New Orleans, that most foreign of American cities"
# very strange or unusual; odd or even incongruous in character or appearance; "the head terminating in the quaint duck bill which gives the animal its vernacular name"- Bill Beatty; "came forth a quaint and fearful sight"- Sir Walter Scott; "a quaint sense of humor"
# old-time: attractively old-fashioned (but not necessarily authentic); "houses with quaint thatched roofs"; "a vaulted roof supporting old-time chimney pots"
Damn you for being right :p
I'll do my best to make sure that you never prove me wrong in a pointless debate on Steam chat ever again. Or in real life for that matter :p

OT: It's hard to choose a favorite word, 'cos the English language is full of great words, but I'd say "Clunge" is a top contender for my favorite...

"Clunge

Slang term for Female genitalia.
Commonly used in comedy show "The Inbetweeners"

Jay: You may want to bring your wellies with you tonight.
Neil: Why?
Jay: Cause you'll be knee deep in Clunge!" - Urban Dictionary.
