My Dad was really into PC gaming when I was a kid, he even used to program his own games using Pascal, so I remember that he and his friend Chris used to play games a lot and my older brother would sit there enthralled by it all and ended up becoming better at Transport Tycoon than either of them. But the first time that I really connected to gaming, I came downstairs one Saturday morning and found Dad playing the original Tomb Raider. I don't know what it was about it but I was just drawn in and watched him playing it for hours.

Got a Super Nintendo console for Christmas that year which was my introduction to actually gaming myself. Super Mario Bros. My brothers and I spent hours on it.

I don't know what came first, but I think it was playing Super Mario 64 on the N64, although F Zero X could've been earlier. I guess the next is either Comet Busters or Inner Space on the PC.

Glorious Times, indeed.

Sega Genisis X-men. Me, my dad, my uncle and my cousins, some of them shouting about how I couldn't be Nightcrawler because I was a girl.

Playing Rayman on my dad's brand-new Windows 95. Followed shortly by Pokemon Red on the biggest gameboy I've ever seen.
