man I hate people who buy "gaming" mouses (or is it mice? o_O). I thought it was the saddest thing when my friend showed me that he has different weights that he can put into his mouse. I mean come on, I'll probably pwn you with mouse that still has the ball inside
Well I hate people who think gaming mice are a waste and who think that they can pwn me because they said so. So THERE! :p

Pretty much what the title says. What mouse do you use for gaming?

I use a Razer Copperhead.

I find it's really responsive, and it took a bit of getting used to, but now regular mice feel way too slow. It has a number (5 I think) of pre-set sensitivity levels, ranging from super slow to super fast, with the default being the speed of a regular mouse. Currently I have it set one above the default.

But enough about me, what mouse do you use for your gaming?
I too have a Copperhead (of the green variety) and find it great, especially as a lefthander, logitec tend to be more right hand orientated! I tend to use setting number 4 out of 5 which is pretty sensitive, but I don't have much room for moving my hand, and I stay away from sniping!

The weights thing (G5?) are a bit much, but otherwise it is nice to have a mouse that is smooth and accurate. Once you've used one, you'll HATE using an old shitty one.

I had a logitech G7, which malfunctioned, but warranty covered that. I replaced it with a logitech MX Revolution, which also broke (again, not my fault at all). I then bought a Razer Copperhead like the OP, which has served me nicely for a while with no issues, plus it's smooth to use and has the nice dpi-changing buttons. Ripoff? Not even close.

That Cyborg RAC is the most awesome mouse ever, I might just get that some day. :D
I had a G7 as well, although mine was nice enough to last for a month after its warranty expired before it self destructed, although I haven't replaced it with another gaming mouse yet because I can't justify the cost.

no mouse correction, light, good for claw and fingertip grip and has a great shape.

Also its 10 bucks or less if your on the cheap, just get some Teflon feet on it, and it is the best mouse ever.
YEAH! I GOT THE BLACK VERSION!

Wow, some of these mice are butt fucking ugly. I wouldn't even consider buying a mouse over £10, waste of money. I've got just a simple plain Logitech mouse. it's all I need. Doesn't have all the fancy buttons and all that crap.

Logitech Marble, the best mouse I've ever used - I've bought about 6 of them since I first discovered it about 10 years back.

THIS...love it.
Bought one for the office and one for home and I don't feel like I have to amputate my hands at the wrist at the end of the day anymore...

Logitech G5.
Custom weights and the quick switching sensitivity settings are awesome, didn't think I'd use sensitivity changing when I got it but I love it now.

It's pretty basic, it wasn't expensive and it's durable. I see no reason to spend shitloads of money on a keyboard or mouse.

Meh, the amount of annoyance I would get from having a crap mouse makes it well worth it, just like any other hardware, it needs to work.
