Logitech G5.
Custom weights and the quick switching sensitivity settings are awesome, didn't think I'd use sensitivity changing when I got it but I love it now.
My buddy has one of those, which I've used a few times. I'm more of a fan of the texture covering than anything else :p

I too have a Copperhead (of the green variety) and find it great, especially as a lefthander, logitec tend to be more right hand orientated! I tend to use setting number 4 out of 5 which is pretty sensitive, but I don't have much room for moving my hand, and I stay away from sniping!
I forgot to mention that. The Razer Copperhead is perfectly symmetrical, so if you want to use it left handed you just change the orientation in the settings and it's exactly the same. and yet it feels immensely comfortable.

Don't have a gaming mouse and I don't really care to get one. I use my mouse for some gaming, but it serves other purposes, too.

It's got a tiiiiiny little plug. :D

Stock Dell optical mouse. I see no reason to drop $50 on a "gaming" mouse when the one I've got never lets me down.

Logitech MX518, easily the best/most-comfortable mouse I've ever used.
Where did you get that?

I use a Logitech M205

Got it off of newegg.com, highly recommend the site if you want to browse electronics. They also have great sales.

in other news, razer is a rip off. besides deathadder, and krait, and even those mices performance is garbage compared to the original mice they are based off of (Intellimouse 3.0, and MX300)

Good mice have good texture, good feet, and good shape. and of course good tracking.

DPI does not need to be more than 400, really, it doesn't. All you need to make sure is that malfunction speed and perfect control speed are good.
DPI is very, very important if usb speed is less than 1000.
umm, no, stop talking out your ass. DPI doesnt matter for 90 percent of players. Polling rate doesnt effect sensitivity at all. all that matters is perfect control(how fast you can move your mouse before it starts flipping out of control)

DPI only matters if you have like 3cm to do a 360.... and you probably cant hit shit if you have that sensitivity.

Oh yeah, on the fly DPI, is pointless, there are binds and scripts that chance sensitivity in game for most online games.

Higher DPI is better, there is nothing wrong with high dpi. Generally though, most of the new mice have shitty perfect control, and lots of input error bullshit that most new users don't even notice cause they are not good enough.

I checked that esreality mousescore and it doesnt really explains things well, it is also old and outdated and focused more on low sensitivity players, also i think you misunderstood the whole meaning of this test.
High DPI doesnt only mean fast cursor movement using minimum hand movement. A high dpi mouse also generally tracks better which is very very important if you are like me and use high DPI.
So its very important to medium and high sensitivity players as i quote from the mouse test.
Low sensitivity gamers might not need as high dpi mice as high sensitivity players do but still high dpi is a big plus.

stop talking out your ass
Also that wasnt really necessary....

THIS...love it.
Bought one for the office and one for home and I don't feel like I have to amputate my hands at the wrist at the end of the day anymore...
Keep one as a spare though, the left hand button has a nasty habit of wearing out after a year or so of heavy use for me. It will still work, just every now and then will act up for a few moments before settling down again.

Aside from that, best mouse ever.

man I hate people who buy "gaming" mouses (or is it mice? o_O). I thought it was the saddest thing when my friend showed me that he has different weights that he can put into his mouse. I mean come on, I'll probably pwn you with mouse that still has the ball inside
Good luck doing that with a ballmouse.

I've got a Razer Deathadder and would never spend any more then that on a mouse, some of them are stupidly expensive.
I use an optical mouse that came with my laptop actually.

I walked into an electronics store and asked for the cheapest 'full size' mouse... That's what I got, some Logitech thing. Works well enough, who cares about gaming mouses anyway...

Logitechs "do it all" of mice. ANd I got it for half price because they couldn't be bothered to check that the x was there. Sweet.

I used to think a gaming mouse didn't make a difference but after my G7 died and I was playing with a "come with keyboard" mouse for a while and I got a G9x hooly crap it was nice.

I got a Steelseries Xai a few weeks ago. I only use it with Windows for games and general computing on that platform since Kensington seems to not want to make proper 64bit drivers available for the Expert Mouse trackball and MS thinks it is 1995 and people only have three button mice. One thing I really like about the Xai is the fact that your button configuration is stored on the device itself so you can use it on any operating system with the same exact settings. Once I take some time and figure out why the mouse won't work with my keyboard USB ports under Linux this will probably become my main mouse.

I am a gamer from the diablo 2 era, so I use the cheapest base line logitech ($15-20) I can buy.
Just the standard 3 button mouse for me.
