On Pro Evolution Soccer a few years ago two friends and I were playing the world cup final as England against Portugal on the highest difficulty, it didn't go well and we were 2-0 down at half time. In the second half we rallied and brought it back to 2-2 at the final whistle to go to extra time. We were set for a penalty shoot out when my player got the ball on the edge of the opponent's penalty area and smashed the ball into the top right hand corner of the goal.
My friends and I cheered as hard as we would have done had England won the world cup for real.
Easily my greatest gaming moment to date.

Becoming the Top Player in TF2 as a Spy during a Capture Point match.

Just played Goldeneye 007 Wii, and the tank part is awesome, demolishing St. Petersburg while chasing a Humvee, destroying freaking everyone.
I feel Spy gets the most points of any class in the least amount of time, since most of your kills will have been instakills and building demolition is simple.1nfinite_Cros5 said:
Hmm... it was propably when I was trying to kill Prophet of Regret in Halo 2 on Legendary.
Long story short:
At the end of the level, there was kind of a boss fight. Room with one entrance, with a guy in a floating chair. Said guy could be only killed by getting on said chair and using melee on him. Every time you do so, he teleports somewhere else, leaving you behind. Repeat 5-7 times (on Legendary) to kill him and beat the level.
To make things harder, the room he was in contained multiple doors that kept respawning his guard (quite a few grunts with plasma pistols and some Elite Guards- one with dual plasma riffles, one with plasma sword. For those who have no idea why is that so bad: on this dificulty, pretty much any of these enemies can take you down in less than 5 seconds, espacially Elites).
At first, I tried a conservative attempt, and it worked. Sort of. But every time I tried, I was being killed after 2-3 series of melee. I got frustrated and stopped trying.
Then, a year later, I decided to give it another try. I still couldn't beat him. I was getting more and more frustrated. Sudenly, I thought "F***ing keyboard, I can't play with this". I connected my X360 controller and beaten Prophet of Regret in 10 minutes. Without hurting any of his guards.

Finishing Mass Effect 2 on insanity, dying less than 10 times.

Going 15-3 on Zombie's in Halo: Reach only playing as a zombie.
Was really proud, as I'm usually terrible, and I got some amazing kills and the last kill of the match was me doing an amazing jump and then assassinating the guy as everyone else watched.
I don't think I'll ever play that well again.

So the Soldier class has a mininuke killstreak thing- it basically kills everyone within a large radius.
My team had to get a bomb to the enemy base, and we would win the game.
The entire enemy team was lined up, protecting their base.
An enemy soldier had the killstreak, and fired the mininuke at my team. It would kill us all.
So I, being a very fast Scout class, transformed into a car, and went screaming headfirst into the mininuke just as the Soldier fired it. It killed me and the soldier's entire team, saved my team, and allowed us to plant the bomb and win.
Afterwards, they were all, "Ohhhhhh shit, it's a superhero!"
TL;DR: Guy fired bomb, I blocked bomb, died, but saved my team and won the game.

My friend and I were playing SW Battlefront 2, and it was the Hoth map, Conquest. I had about 10 reinforcements, he had about 3. But he had just got Luke and was clearing out some of my remaining StormTroopers. So I approach him as a Rocket-launcher trooper with only ammo left for my precision pistol. He sees me and jumps to clear the distance. When he is above me, I shoot him, with the pistol, him in midair, twice, in the head. He falls dead at my feet and I won... and he had the hero!

As a sniper, sitting at an almost impossible distance, I was shooting at an enemy sniper running over a field filled with cars and good cover. Wasted 10-15 shots shooting at him without even getting close. Gave up on him, and looked at where he was going, and there was another sniper there, at a great position, almost exclusively visible from where I myself sat.
I lined up a shot, considering distance and timing for him to sit still, I pulled the trigger, and just as I did so, the sniper I had originally been trying to kill came running.
Bullet went into the head of the stationary sniper, exited through the other side of his skull, and then hit the running guy in the head behind him, thus double-killing two snipers with 500 Points Marksman-Shots.
Don't need to explain how satisfying that was. Purest shot ever.

I still remember that match crystal clear, I killed 3 with a sniper, one at the roof at A, the other 2 was at the big roofs at B
than I planted the bonb at b and quickscopped the remaining 2 off as they became visible
he didn't order cod4, but since then everyone was "dude, hyker should totally take the sniper"
