A certain breed of Bull, the origin of Bulmers cider (I think) and the 'Mappa Mundi' which is like a really old map of England or the world or something lol, you can see how much I care about my home town. England's just the greatest, ain't it? *obv sarcasm*

Uhh....

B.B. King played here in a Blues club in town.

That's all I can think of from my town at the moment, but we do have some national champs school teams in my county/surrounding towns.

But my town is famous for being the bad town to live in in the area, where all the people from NYC come up to try to restart life "upstate" in the "country" but bring all of their problems up here instead and instead of gangs fighting over turf in brooklyn, they do it up here instead.

So it's not really famous, per se, but eh...it has a reputation.

Perth City, Western Australia.... a tiny little city with no major landmarks or clear interesting features. This is the major city of Western Australia which shows how truly exciting WA is... and since WA is the biggest part of Australia shows how exciting we all are.

*sigh*
hay less people to annoy you.
You mean Perth? or is there a separate city named Perth City?

I've been to Perth ages ago, I liked it alot very nice city.

I live around Houston which is know for being the city with the fattest people, the worst traffic and is generally considered a bad thing that happens to good people. But hey, we've got NASA.

Sadly in my direct area my old high school is known mainly due to some poor kid getting attacked and other horrible things by some Neo Nazis/ white power gang.

And the town I go to college in has the largest complex of prisons in Texas.

My home town is famous for having one mayor for its entire existence. She is now very old (88), but still scares the life out of everyone(and drives). (Imagine a super-grandma) Oh and she is the 2nd best mayor in the entire world. I hope they get cloning before she dies. Oh and she has been re-elected without actually campaigning. Last election she got 92% of the vote.

Inhabited since Stone Age, Large Port, Awsome Footy team- much better than pompy ;) hehe Making Spitfires, Titanic port, Mayflower, medical university, famous for its architecture - however much of the old city walls have crumbled and only pockets of georgian, tudor etc architecture survive due to being levelled sadly in the war :( Silly innacurate german bombers!! lol

Sacramento: Famous for rockers Cake, actor Tom Hanks, and spending six dollars for every one we earn.

Oh, and we're only 45 minutes from Stockton, hometown of the Fantastic 4, University of the Pacific, and being rated the worst place in America to live 9 of the last 10 years.

I live in Aarsschot.

That might not mean much to anyone who doesn't speak Dutch, but let's just say it can be translated to something that essentially means 'farting'. Alongside Reet (=Ass) en Kontich (=Booty-ish) it is jokingly refered to as the 'Anal Triangle'.
