Any form of summoning. I'd say necromancy, but that's too typical..

Technomancy, on the other hand..
*Starts to create robots out of paper clips*

MUAHAHAHA!!!

But if you're meaning real life, I'd probably be a jack of all trades.. Making my OWN spells.

I'd be a Mancermancer. I control the rules and interactions between all the different magic types, bending everything to my ultimate will. What good is your necromancy if I tweak the rule so all your creations are pacifist? What good is fire magic if it never quite gets hot enough, or is uncontrollable? How can you raise your dead comrades if life spells suddenly don't work for the particular way that person died?

I would be an energy mage (Think Nero's summoned devil arm from DMC4 except I wouldn't be restricted to arms I would make/summon energy arms/legs/shields/boulders/etc).

If I cannot have that I would go with elementalist, mainly because, on earth, almost everything has some level of earth, water, wind or fire in it.

Or possibly a Lancermancer. You summon people on horses who charge at people with their lances.

I am so, so, SO sorry.

i would have the magic style of altering the physical properties of object allowing me to use any power the only problem is it would be twice as draining as a specialist

Have you perhaps read a book called 'Secret of the Sixth Magic'??? In that they call what you have metamagic.

Why not a Dancermancer? My legions of summoned synchronized pirouette squads consisting entirely of Chuck Norris clones will roundhouse kick everything into oblivion.

That'd be a nope, but it looks worth a read now; that is, if I can ever remember IRL to look it up.

Healing power. Sounds boring, but there's such a high demand for it in the world I'd never run out of things to do or people to help. And being able to do a real-life Decree of Justice or Testament of Faith would be nice.

Otherwise, an array of charm spells and the like would make life easier.

Probably Shamanistic magic. Influenced by Shaman King and the old Native American legends I've read as a kid.

Graphimancy.
Allowing me to summon objects and creatures by drawing them.
Drawing things into existence in the real world.

Or symbolica.
Using symbolism to change objects and peoples state of being.
