I went with a red deck (all goblins) it wasn't good but it was fun and that's the point right?

FF style: Blue, white or black
D&D: Cleric/Sorcerer
MTG: Red, white and black (alternatively skip red)
Free-style: Necromancy/Holy (healing kind of stuff), in other words the stuff that goes on life force and making/healing wounds as well as raising the dead or preventing death.

I've always leaned twards Green. I love me some forest mana. Yes, yes I am a big enough nerd to talk about MTG. I wanna summon things that devour cities and still feel hungry.
kinda like this

If you're gonna show of a MTG card, at least make it a bad ass one. ESPECIALLY if it's green.

Now, on topic...I prefer a mix of subtle spells that could be used in tons of different ways, and straight forward d00mz that melt your face off.

Like casting grease under someone's feet, then burning hands to ignite said grease.

Necromancer, for preference, with some healing elements thrown in there for luck, with maybe some buff/debuff basic level spells as well.

Shredding things apart with forces of the unknown universe, vaporizing people and objects alike with blasts of pure magic energy, slicing through anything with concentrated beams of arcane power, you know the usual. and teleporting.

Depends on the system.

Elder Scrolls: I lean more towards Alteration, Restoration, and Destruction.
3.5 DnD: I tend to work much more closely with Necromancy, but more with the sense that Kelemvor (Forgotten Realms) looks at it: Zombies and undead are bad. It would be more along the lines of manipulating life force in general.
Mage the Ascension: I lean towards mind, time and life.
MTG: White/red
Freestyle: I'm split between manipulating life forces and manipulating matter. I know enough about physics in general to where manipulating matter would give me quite a bit of versatility and manipulating the life forces of people can be used either to heal or kill.

Definetly elemental, and the elements in question would totally be the ones from magic the gathering, ie: Forest (life), Mountain (fire), Island (water), Plains light, and Swamp (death).

I would be a summoner. I would summon many spirits and familiars and all sorts of things. Even 100% obedient healers/buff-debuff(priests). It would be fun to watch my summoned creatures do my bidding for me.

Something that allows me to draw strength and magical energy from the life force of others and transfer it to myself or some other person of my choosing. So, basically, shadow priest.
